The good item is the atmosphere. Large Windows- Ceilings with lights very nice. The wait was ridiculous. Took time to get a waiter to take our order............Then wait.....wait....wait............The salads and soup came out 45 minutes later...........then another 20 minutes before the rest of food. Husband's Bratwurts was awful and the fries were cold. My cousin's potato fries cold and not... More

We drove up to the Grand Canyon for a day trip from Sedona. The route up through Cameron and into the East gate of the south rim was nice. There were pull outs along the way and it was not nearly as busy as at the main visitor center area. It was easy to stop and take in the views.... More

After getting soaked in a burst downpour, family and I decided to get some lunch. My mom and uncle seemed to like their choices, prime rub sandwich and sweet potato wrap. I had the Buffalo Bratwurst, came on a regular, store bought bun, jarred sauerkraut, and soggy french fries. Ick!

There are not a lot of choices for dining at the South Rim. Think of this as a coffee shop in an historic lodge. Food is passable, service is indifferent.

They do make a great burger, but you can pretty much forget about everything else. It isn't tasteless fast food like most of what is available in the park, but the food and its preparation will probably remind you of your college cafeteria.

Sat down for great food and relaxation after a long day of walking at the Grand Canyon. Rustic atmosphere and great food.

My family and I took a look around the historic lodge and museum room then sat down for lunch. Waitress was inattentive and not at all knowledgeable about menu items. When food arrived, items were missing and little things like condiments and toppings were missing or incorrect. No major mistakes and food was good.

Ate here twice, two times too many. Service terrible-forgetful and lacking any semblance of customer service. Food lukewarm at best, server could care less. Manager walked by the table but never made eye contact. After several requests they finally came over, never asked what was wrong just took money off the bill! This must happen a lot if this is... We had the chili (big portion -- served in a sourdough bowl) and the Cobb salad, both very good. Bread pudding for dessert -- also very good. Our server made us feel very welcome.
