We had a wonderful dinner at Coppa Cafe. It was a nice change, after a steady offer of bbq and potatoes. Thank you!

Small unassuming storefront restaurant. But food is far from unassuming. Cactus Salad was full of surprise ingredients, and the lettuce was sweet and crisp. Very obviously not from a big bag of "spring lettuce mix". Halibut was perfectly cooked and topped a bean mixture with...More

I liked the atmosphere and it did have a french cafe feel to it. I had the beet soup which was exceptional and the Lamb dish. The lamb dish was good but a small portion which I was fine with but if you are a...More

After several years of Coppa Cafe being a "go to place" for Sunday brunch, it is sad to see the service level go down so dramatically. It appears to be directly related to gratuity now being automatically added for every ticket. There is no incentive...More

We came here for breakfast on a Sunday morning and loved the charming interior. Service was good but we felt our server must have been new. We loved the prosciutto and egg tart flambé. It was the perfect breakfast pizza, thin and crunchy and topped...More

The night before my daughter's graduation dinner, I received a call from the restaurant. I was told that because they were booked and had a waiting list, they were collecting $50 to secure reservations previously made. I get that they do not want to hold...More

We went on a night when they had only the chefs tasting menu. It was fantastic. The place is quaint and the food was impeccable. We enjoyed every minute of it.

This was our first visit to Coppa. The food was fabulous. The Bolognese over home made pasta would have made Marcella Hazan proud. My husband's steak frites were, according to him, the best he has ever eaten. We had been going to Tinderbox Kitchen for...More

If you love it when a restaurant exceeds all expectations, get to Coppa Cafe in Flagstaff. We had several appetizers from house cured charcuterie to unbelievable lamb tripe, and ponderosa mousse, and a chicken dish made unlike any other chicken you've ever had. Coppa reminded...More

Description
Coppa is a European-style cafe/bistro set amidst the mountains of Flagstaff serving lunch, dinner and Sunday brunch. While northern Arizona might at first seem an unlikely dining destination for serious epicureans, Coppa Cafe's combination of talent and unconventional procurement methods have set the small, casual eatery atop the "can't miss" list of every discerning foodie from Phoenix to Santa Fe. Choosing to go against the grain of the franchise and chain restaurants often found in smaller-town America, husband and wife owners and chefs Brian Konefal and Paola Fioravanti instead favor house-cured meats, ingredients locally procured from nearby farms and ranches and foraged foods found in the forests around Flagstaff to incorporate into their dishes. Though their procurement methods might seem unconventional for the region, their talents are rooted in tradition, following lifelong culinary careers spent crisscrossing Europe and the U.S., Training under the tutelage of some of the finest and most decorated chefs in their respective countries. As Coppa's tagline states, the tiny, intimate venue offers "a taste of Europe in the mountains of Flagstaff," and the culinary team prides itself on providing just that through balancing local finds with progressive techniques, resulting in an unprecedented, sophisticated and pilgrimage-worthy experience.
