Went here with my family for dinner. Was seated right away! The menu was great, lots of gluten-free options. The fish tacos were amazing and our server was excellent!

Intended to go to Lake Effect diner but got there just as they were closing (9:57 pm). Asked for a recommendation and the fellow pointed to the Steer Restaurant next door. Didn't realize at the time that both restaurants have the same owner. At any rate, we were hungry and figured "Why not?". Although it seemed odd that we entered... More
Nice burgers and pizza with a few really good vegan choices. Try the chick pea fries!! Our server, Samantha did a fantastic job keeping up with our party half of which were children. There is a side room to eat in besides the very active Bar area.
My daughter just moved into the area and after a 6+ hour drive we wanted to eat very locally. We ate lunch here on Saturday and brnch here on Sunday. Both meals were more-than-adequate with the food being prepared literally before our eyes in an open kitchen. The staff could not have been more accommodating although management should ban their... Service was excellent food was so delicious and the cocktails were on point! 👌🏼 I will definitely be going back. They have indoor and outdoor seating. The indoors is very nicely decorated 👍🏼 overall we had an amazing experience 8/10!
I started off with their Strawberry Basil cocktail, it was so delicious! Not too strong not too weak and tons of flavors! Within the group we ordered a Caesar salad, crunchy croutons and lettuce, no complaints there. We also started with the French onion soup. I love French onion, I get it everywhere that sells it, so in my opinion... More
I saw Steers when I took the family to the Lake Effect Dinner next store. I decided then I wanted to go there. So when the oppertunity presented it self to meet with my son for dinner in the city I went for it. Walking in the front door you walk into to the bar where the room seems to... More
This place established in 1969 has been recently revamped to include an open kitchen and a new menu. I had a truly wonderful French Onion soup that needed a knife to cut through the cheese and one of the "Bad A**" Burgers - Katrina (blackened Cajun, caramelized onions and blue cheese - yummy). Together with an Angry Orchard cider, I... More
I was so impressed. Going to college in the area, I knew the Steer as a late-night bar hang out, but I had no idea they would have such a great menu. They also include options for vegans and gluten-free and diary-free people. And desserts. Gluten-free, dairy-free, and vegan desserts.
I was super psyched to discover last year, during my annual visit to Buffalo, that the Steer was renovated and had totally transformed its menu. I would now argue that the Steer offers some of the best vegetarian/vegan pub food in all of Buffalo. Don't miss out on the chickpea fries or the black bean burger. These recipes were not... More
