Stopped in based on TA advice and was not disappointed. Was dining alone for lunch so I took a bar seat. The bartenders on duty (Friday) were absolutely great, friendly, fast, knowledgeable, engaging. Had the "lobstercado" - delish, huge chunks of lobster steeped on an English muffin with a nice amount of melted cheese, the French Onion soup had tons... More

Back for lunch one year after last eating here, and once again, it did not disappoint! The service is always great, the food consistent, and it is definitely a go-to spot in Newport! Lots of different rooms for dining, and lots of TV's in the bar area to watch your favorite sporting events.

The ambience is there, the location perfect, the menu massive, but the service and food were just average. The RI Red Wings ($9.95) were only warm and nothing special. I also had asked the server to cook them a little extra to make them crispy and that is not how they arrived. The Reuben ($11.95) should be a no brainer,... More

Brick Alley Pub is one of the most popular pub-style restaurants in Newport. We booked our reservation in advance, and still had to wait 20 minutes. The Brick Alley Pub offers exactly that...pub food, but boy they do it right!! It is not possible to order anything there that is not fresh, the turnover is constant. We had soup, salad,... More

On our recent vacation we ate at this friendly and clean pub. I had the BEST lobster macaroni and cheese EVER!!! It had large pieces of claw meat, etc. My husband enjoyed his chowder very much. Our waiter, Ben, was a caring and attentive young man. The pub was very busy at 2:30 p.m., which is a positive sign. We... More

At Brick Alley Pub we have it all: "pub style" comfort food to modern multicultural cuisine all served with genuine down-home hospitality. If you are looking for stiff, over the top formal service with small portions of over-priced food, we are not that place.

Located at 140 Thames Street across from the Brick Market Place in Downtown Newport the Brick Alley Pub & Restaurant offers a warm and cozy fireplace in the winter and comfortably air-conditioned dining rooms in the summer.

The Brick Alley Pub & Restaurant specializes in a blend of flavorful steaks, fresh local seafood, pastas, and seasonal specials. Begin your dinner with a selection from our cocktail menu or choose a wine from our extensive wine list. This wine list features over 250 different vintages and has received the Wine Spectator Award for Excellence.

Open for lunch and dinner, Brick Alley Pub & Restaurant accepts reservations and offers an upstairs function room that can accommodate up to 170 people.
