We have gone to Brick Alley several times over the years when we visit Newport. They have excellent Chicken Nachos. The staff are very friendly. Sometimes the wait is long because so many people go to this place, but it is worth the wait.

This is a large restaurant, great for families, a huge menu, something for everyone. It is almost always crowded so prepare to wait. Also the tables are close so don't plan on having intimate conversations! There are a few booths if you are lucky enough to get one or you can wait for one...the food is delicious, the portions are... More

As someone who lives locally, tbh, I tend to avoid the place. The staff is usually superb, but the food isn't healthy (number one reason I avoid), and since it's probably the number one spot for tourists, the wait to get in is usually too long for most of us to bother. Good times to visit-they're great on snow days!... More

Nice salad bar & generous entree portions. Great brie/apple bruschetta & the lobster bisque was tasty. Their lobster mac & cheese had many large chunks of meat & the burger was thick. Our leftovers were enough for another meal the next day. Good atmosphere inside & reasonably priced.

Not on the waterfront, but worth the short walk up the cobblestone street to get to this place. Excellent menu - dinners or smaller meals and lunches - great drink menu - wonderful service - just a very comfortable, happy place to eat at average prices for the Newport area. Went there for lunch both days of this weekend that... More

Their lobster salad was sensational. I didn't want the roll, and so ordered a side salad with the lobster. The portion was enormous...their side salad being more like a main salad and the lobster salad portion was really generous. Yum!

Big restaurant, filled with locals, a large menu, great bar, and a friendly staff. Nothing fussy or fancy here, just a lot of good food in a welcoming atmosphere.

This place was recommended by owner of Cupcake Charlie's. He did not steer us wrong. The lobster roll was superb and the decor could keep you busy for hours. There are so many photos and memorabilia on the walls that it is pure entertainment. Our server was very helpful and the food was served without a long wait. A thoroughly... More
