My wife and I were engaged on the train, and later set out on the train with around 70 of our family and friends for our wedding. The train stopped at a cove on the Narragansett Bay where our ceremony was held. We boarded and enjoyed a great Saturday afternoon trip on rail around the island. On our last trip... More

This ride is awesome! Everything, the music, the food, the atmosphere, the train, were great! My favorite part? The view!

food was just ok but the train ride was not so great as the things you get to see you can do just by walking around. The train as far as a ride goes is fine and the staff is really good and just can work with what they have. the bus/trolly rides are a better way to see the... More

Best night of the trip for me. Love trains and to have dinner on one was the best. stuffed sole, crab and scallop stuffing and lobster sauce. Keyboard player was just loud enough so you could enjoy the music and still visit with the folks at your table. The hour ride could only have been improved on if it hadn't... More

We had discovered this little train by accident wandering around the web and had booked well in advance. Hence, as the little crowd gathered around to board the train we were concerned to find that no one knew about us!! Nevertheless we were swiftly accommodated by a team of brilliant staff and sat at our table in the capacious carriage... More

The food was absolutely cold, though some did get it served luke-warm. It bordered on tasteless. The "murder-mystery" performance was completely lame. The scenery was horrible. The poor reviews of this were absolutely accurate. We went because we were with a group of 70 Rotarians (who all were in agreement that had we know better we would never have done... More

Don't waste your money. You could see the Narrascant (sp?) bay better by car. The tracks all full of brush that is overgrown and blocks the view of the bay. I feel like we saw more shady backyards and dumpsters than we did the bay. I also feel bad for the people on the other side of the bay. Tables... More

This was an elegant experience. After you get over the awe of the coach and the service, you notice that the train ride itself isn't that great - not much to see, but you quickly forget about that when you are served, and indulge in the food and conversation...

We were a little hesitant to do this after reading the reviews but so glad we went ahead and booked it!! We had a wonderful time!! It was the opening trip of this season. Very romantic, food was not 5 star, but still very tasty. I would suggest paying the little bit of difference to have your own table and... More

I found the overall experience to be totally not worth the money. The food was terrible - we had the option of either chicken, fish or ribs - the chicken was so bland, the fish was basically two cups of boxed stuffing wrapped with a couple slices of some white fish and the ribs looked like they came from some...
