Ok dim sum. Large selection in the front windows. I have had better dim sum so just ok. Seems to be frequented by locals.

Had lunch in this casual, informal restaurant with homey and concerned service. We were the only tourists in the restaurant. We asked for l items not on the cart; the server cheerfully prepared what we wanted from the dim sum menu in less than 7 minutes. Nothing fancy inside; absolutely worth a try.

Closest to a full 'coffee shop' in NY Chinatown. Dim sum's pretty good, jook the best in town, won ton noodles. Dinner offers great value too.

I come here a lot whenever I have a craving for authentic Chinese dim sum or lunch specials. They are not the cheapest amongst all the other Chinese restaurants in Chinatown, but I found their quality is better than some of the cheapest prices. They are not in the high end expensive restaurants either. It's a good balance between speed,... More

Small and simple by comparison but very big with the aunties and Chinese families out to lunch! The Sunflower Restaurant isn't going to surprise you or offer anything unique but the food is well done and tastes good. The service is also attentive (as you may be the only 'Haole' inside) and efficient.

At a lot of small restaurants in Chinatown, if you're not Chinese you won't receive the same level of service. It's frustrating but expected. However, the service was really bad here for me. While others were served in a courteous but seemingly short manner, I was not served at all at first: the servers just gestured towards me, presumably fighting... More

On a recent trip to Hawaii I ended up eating at this cafe twice! The first time a friend took me there. My friend ordered a fish and tofu soup, which I was hesitant to try because I don't like fish soups. I tried it and couldn't stop eating it! The fish was really fresh and the cilantro gave it... It was 5PM...Friday of a long weekend in C-town Honolulu.....and yet, it seems like all the shops, markets and restaurants have closed!? What's going on? We walked around until we found "Sun Hing" (their name in Cantonese). Even more delightful was the fact that the food was not only good and not expensive, the place was rather clean too!!! Added... A family run type of restaurant. Nothing too fancy here, just authentic Chinese food. Not too many Chinese restaurants stay open during dinner time in Chinatown but this is one of them. Everything is reasonably priced and the presentation is good. I live here in Honolulu and frequent the place. One of their signature dishes is Hunan chicken with rice... More
