Leonard’s bakery makes delicious malasadas and if you’ve never had one you should most definitely stop by and get a few.

Malasadas, regular, cinnamon, cream-filled, dobash choc-filled, haupia-filled, are all out of this world. Beware, though: they are packed w/ flavor and freshness, so don't let your eye get too big for your stomach. Just eat ONE at the store and take the rest of your...More

I had never even heard of a malasada until my first trip to Hawaii. Leonard’s is famous for them and after having one I know why. These little creations are so good. Careful though, don’t buy to many because you’ll eat them all before you...More

Count me a fan of the malasada! I actually prefer the original and cinnamon to the filled versions. And if you stop at their truck rather than their store you’ll find them just as warm and yummy.

Every year we come to Hawaii and this is one place that we visit each time. Do not let the outside deceive you. It is not very pretty to look at and there is not much parking. But, the Malsaladas are fantastic!

We got a box of 6 different flavored malasadas. They were all really good and worth the over mile walk to get them!! The coconut and macadamia nuts were my favorite.

Not the biggest building in the world but full for a reason. Definitely recommended, although the next door parking lot has a security guard to make sure you don't park there and go to Leonards!

Love the fresh malasadas. They are so hot and the fillings are yummy! We especially like the haupia filling.

Would definitely recommend, some of the best pastries ever! Very limited parking, but we hit it lucky each time we went! If you don't go while in Honolulu, you don't know what you are missing out on!

We had dinner nearby when my wife saw the big Leonard's Bakery sign. She loves her pastries so we decided to check it out. There was a long line out the door but it's worth the wait. The malasadas are made fresh to order and...More

You may want to try Champion's malasadas instead, although the business is currently up for sale. I have heard arguments by malasada connoisseurs about whose malasada is better; Leonards or Champions. Personally I greatly... More
