This "carib spanish" is good, light food, cooked while you can watch. Outside the "main" eating hours there are tables and counter space to eat. Drinks are served. There are a lot of regulars and it's a friendly crowd.

Good Mexican American food at reasonable price. Prices reasonable for Honolulu, very good for Hawaii Kai. FULL bar with plenty of reasonably priced drinks. No a great deal, but a good one. Had great service an so/so service, but never bad. Top three value places in Hawaii Kai.

Loved this hole-in-the-wall despite it's poor management and barely passable food, the drinks and marina always made me come back. But they do have a bird problem with their opens doors.... Used to be funny until 3 birds flew all over the restaurant, shedding feathers and feces all over my family's food. Décor 4/5 Food 2/5 Management/staff 2/5

Love this place. Very casual outdoor seating by the water with view of Koko Head and Koko Crater. Wonderful menu selections - totally love the Carnitas crispy tacos and just tried the Carnitas Puffer Burrito. Unique and delicious. Great margaritas. Friendly and competent service. Music at night - a variety of entertainers. Tonight was a Hawaiian guitarist and singer. Very... More

Great location and good entertainment. Service was good and prices were reasonable. Food was disappointing.

I have lived in Hawaii Kai for 52 years, and "Cha's" for at least 12 years. Angie the owner and her staff work hard to bring great food and drinks to the table. Get there for dinner on the patio with live music , right on the water and enjoy the famous Hawaii Kai trade winds and a beauty sunset.... More

We have not been here for a few years, but decided to give it a try to have something other than Asian cuisine. My son and I ordered to go as my wife was at home. The service was excellent! We received complimentary sodas, hot chips, and salsa while waiting. The big screen TV helped to keep us occupied. We... More

Still like it here. Stopped in after hiking above Hanauma Bay a few weeks ago. Got a table outside. Pretty quick service by the server. My wife had the chile relleno casserole which is really, really good. I had the super cha cha cha (I think that's the name) with two enchiladas and a taco. All were good but the... More
