We have eaten there few times. My husband liked it,it was just ok for me. I have learned that it closed. We were in Hawaii in August, but did not even go there. Too expensive....Not for the family

. . . and is now Chai's Waikiki Cafe and Market. Same owner, Chai Chaowasaree, apparently has re-envisioned the menu. We have eaten there over the years but had not been since 2012, so not sure when the change occurred. We did not eat there this visit so I'm not qualified to comment on the new cafe. We were hankering... More

It was excellent when we visited the first time. Since then, I think the cook already left the restaurant. Their quality is not the same. For the price, I would go some place else.

My family braved the tropical rain to make this our last experience on the islands. I regret that choice. They advertise the Thai dancers, but they didn't bother to tell the patrons that there would not be a performance the night we went. When I asked 30 minutes past showtime, I was told, "Oh. I don't know. I guess she... More

Apparently its the only Thai restaurant in Hawaii recommended by the Thai government. I therefore expected amazing cuisine. While it was tasty and the service was good, it was not the most spectacular Thai I've ever had.

We have frequented Singha Thai restaurant, next to the Hilton Hawaaian village, for a decade and never been disappointed. Their curries and fish are fresh, meats are succulent and preparations are delightful. Service is quick, friendly and knowledagable. I found the dishes a bit on the sweet and milky side, but that is Thai for you, usually on the sweet side.... More

The AYCE sushi didn't seat after 9pm plus several of the stations were already closed so we only had Singha next door to choose. We are not unhappy. The Pad Thai had lots of seafood, the green curry chicken was luxurious with coconut milk and the beef salad was delicious. It was not cheap but nothing in Waikiki for the... More

It took 15 minutes to be asked for drinks. Starter was cold. Service very poor - not asked how the meal was. Had ordered rice with main meal but had to wait for it to come. No atmosphere - music not playing. Very poor quality service and really disappointed.
