The prices on and around Waikiki Beach are extremely high. The Wailana Coffee House (across from Hilton Hawaiian Village) is a good option to get a good meal at a more reasonable price. We had the fruit cup (an array of fresh fruit) and the macadamia nut pancakes with coconut syrup. The fruit cup was a bit like fruit cocktail... More

Went back in time when we walked in and the staff were all very nice and friendly but unfortunately the food was sub-par. I was looking forward to some good diner food but the pancakes tasted like they came out of a box (not made with real buttermilk as in days of old - buttermilk in name only). The fruit... More

If you want a traditional diner experience at a great price then try here. Breakfast will keep you going all day, and good coffee that just keeps on coming. The size of meals never ceases to amaze me in Waikiki and you may as well give up trying to count calories!

A very local looking diner, but they charged 9 USD for 2 eggs and toast. Coffee was not good either. Would not recommend it.

This restaurant is easy to get to and the food is great. Prices were reasonable too. The pancakes are awesome with the different flavors of syrup. Service was fast and accurate. Would highly recommend .

I had some great meals during my stay in Hawaii, then I came here. What a disappointment. The décor is dated, the food uninspiring and the service patchy.

Asked my concierge where we should go for breakfast and immediately he said Wailana Coffee House. Service is adequate but food is outstanding. Open 24 hours, i was told to try the Poco Loco and was not disappointed. Scenes from Hawaii 5-0 were filmed here.

We were just walking by and I wanted to show my husband this diner because it is an icon in Waikiki. We knew the coffee would not be what we wanted but we went in anyhow. We ordered omelets for breakfast and they were fresh, fast and huge. The size of the meals were huge.

We were looking for a not-fancy place with good breakfasts in Waikiki and this place fit the bill. Service was prompt and friendly. Eggs and potatoes were so buttery that I tasted butter for the rest of the day, which was maybe not such a good thing. Good coffee and plenty of refills, reasonable prices for Waikiki area.

Thank azzure
