The food here is great and the portions served are huge. We ordered our dinner and when it came out we surprised at the size of the portions and a very reasonable price. We packed up the leftovers and had them for lunch the next day. While the food was great the decor is dated - but we did not... More

I shared the pork chops, spicy chicken and specialty fried rice with my two sisters and we took about half back to the hotel. Everything we saw coming out of the kitchen were huge portions. The place was packed with people of all ages. The wait staff were friendly and attentive. I highly recommend.

For grown family of three we ordered way too much food. Had the pork chops, fried chicken, house fried rice and oxtail soup. Oxtail soup had a lovely flavor and we couldn't stop eating the fried rice, it was utterly addicting. Service was ok, had to remind waitress for second drink. Everything was very slow. Place is kinda divy, but... More

This place has the 'it' factor: They figured out how to do it right without the frills. Full of locals which is a good sign. Nothing fancy. Actually a very unappealing entrance. But it flows. Was very busy the night we were there but they made it look easy. The food was excellent and very reasonably priced = exceptional value.... More

Love this place we have been dining here for many years. Always return when we are here. Our faves the pork chops, ribeye, misoyaki chicken, sautéed mushrooms... oh and hands down my fave thing on this menu is the spicy chicken. It's a boneless fried chicken with a spicy sauce vinaigrette topping. The sauce is sent to is from the... More

You may ask, 'why a reluctant review?' This little gem was introduced to me by a couple of friends who grew up locally. It is really a wonderful place to eat. Reluctant to review.......because it will be even more difficult to get in next time. I do suggest that you call and make a reservation. The favorite dishes are all... More

This place was so good. Atmosphere is total dive.. Appears to be mostly locals inside, we sat at the bar and ended up chatting with locals the whole time which is fun because you learn a lot about the island/city from a local! Service was excellent and very quick. As others have mentioned, portions are HUGE we had the pork... More

We have enjoyed Side Street Inn over the years and recently went back for a casual dinner. This time we felt the place had gone to the dumpy side of casual. The restaurant feels beaten up and not in a fun low key way. The carpet seems greasy and gross and our server seemed sick of her job and told... More

I forgot how large the portions were at the Inn. We each ordered a dish and wound up taking half the food home. Went at 8 and many dishes were already sold out, but to be expected around new years. Still, we were forced to make quick choices and regretted it soon thereafter...like when the food showed up. The service... More

The restaurant was packed and had a long line, seemed to be a favorite local spot. The pork sliders were a big hit with our family, as were the mushrooms. The salads were very good, as was the nacho-type dish. The Side Street Inn has a sports bar ambiance to it, although it is fine for families too; it would... More
