Loved the tuna stuffed tomatoes, pimento cheese, cheese cake, and smoothies. Bought some honey and pepper vinegar. Awesome little digs and employees.

Visited The Tomato Place in Vicksburg with my wife, mother-in-law, and dog about 2 weeks ago. The food was uniformly good. My wife got a vegetable plate that was wonderful. I just had a LARGE chunk of their bread pudding. It is in the top 5 bread puddings I have ever eaten. Service was friendly and efficient, the decor and... More

We checked the website and it said they closed at 8pm. We arrived at 6:30 and people were there eating, but a woman who worked there said they closed at 6pm. After telling her that we were from Texas and decided to stay in Vicksburg tonight to eat there, she said, "Sorry! They cant figure out how to change the... More

This is the one-of-a-kind local place to eat that you won't forget. A produce stand that serves sandwiches and smoothies. BLT with goat cheese, BLT Club, home fries, and ice cold soft drinks was our choice. Great food. Outdoor seating or indoor with the feel of the outdoors.

One of the waitresses here will repeat any conversation she hears! Food was good but seemed slightly high in price. Just a country shack but very interesting place.

I enjoyed the large, perfect BLT at this funky restaurant, store, and farmstand. They sell all sorts of produce, honey, coffee, jams and jellies. The people who work there are very friendly. A definate MUST if you visit Vicksburg

This little place has the best BLT sandwiches ever! Thick slice of tomato that tasted fresh and vine ripened, bacon was thick and delicious, cheese bread was fantastic, a definite must for anyone visiting Vicksburg.

Thanks to TripAdvisor we circled until we could get a PARKING SPACE at this darling, delightful place (part restaurant, part farm stand, part specialty food/gift shop). As others have written, there is no A/C; but much of the building is in deep shade and the seating gets a cross breeze supplemented by large fans and is just fine. Food is... More

Enjoyed this funky and delicious lunch at the The Tomato place. We had the BLT with fried green tomatoes and the Anna melt with fresh squeezed lemonade. All wonderful! There is limited seating and this is an open-air place. We were very comfortable and enjoyed the atmosphere. Thank you for a great lunch experience!
