Small restaurant in a strip mall. No reservations needed for <5 people. The first time we visited was on a weekday. Although the restaurant was almost empty, the service was extremely slow and it took almost 45 mins to get a dim sum order of...More

Great little hidden gem. Prices are really good and so far food has been extremely good. Been getting lunch specials for a couple months and never had a bad thing on special menu. And it's done with great consistency. You have to look good because...More
We have been to Uncle Yip's a handful of times now (for both Dinner and Dim Sum) and can say with no hesitation that this is the best Chinese food in Greater Cincinnati. Vera and the staff are so friendly, every time we visit we...More
I have lived in Cincinnati for the past 30 years and explored almost all the restaurants especially the Chinese ones because I come from a place where we have top Cantonese Chinese restaurants in Peru. After all these years my conclusion is that uncle yip...More
Outstanding chinese cuisine! Extradinary fare not found in any other Chinese restaurant in the area. My wife and I gladly traveled from Monroe to Evandale for this food.
My wife wanted shrimp and green beans. Being out of town we were not real sure where to go. Found this place online. We can't say enough about the staff and food. Large portions. Wonderful flavors. The staff was out of this world. Very on...More
The food was amazing and delicious. Made fresh and flavorful. This is a place that you don't want to miss out. If you are in this neck of the woods. Go check them out. Eat some Dim Sum and enjoy. Have so many different selections...More
Very good dim sum. Lots of choices and great service. You can also order off menu. Chinese broccoli was very good. We ordered a variety of shrimp and pork dishes plus rice and desserts. It is in the corner of a shopping center.
This is not a fancy place. It's tucked in a small strip center by a gas station. The decor is pleasant but plain. The food is not your standard Chinese fare. They do different things with the usual ingredients, and it comes out pretty well!
