My husband and I have been to many fine Italain Restaurants and never had a problem. I can't eat onions and try to limit the sauce and have it on the side to put on the pasta. The server and one of the owner's could not and would not accomodate our needs. The owner point blank told us that we... More

Title says it all. Not very good. Not at all. I've been to fine Italian restaurants all over. Some of my favorites are in New York; restaurants with 3rd generation owners that greet you and take care of you. We thought Scotti's would be like this: 100+ years old with much tradition. So we decided to celebrate my birthday here.... More

Upon entering and telling the gentleman, and I use that term loosely, that we had a 6:15 reservation for a party of 7 we were told that they had no such reservation, and upon further review we were told they had us down for the following Saturday night. We told them we came from Washington DC to visit our son,... More

Went here with a coworker for lunch and the place was just alright. It was very cramped inside and smelled light a retirement home. It was dark too. We both got the fettuccine alfredo and it tasted like it was made with canned sauce. She paid extra and got garlic bread and it looked burnt because she tore out the... More

I This was so disappointing. The best thing on the table was the wine. The food was not homemade or even authentic. I typically don't write reviews on Italian Restaurants because we lived there for so long but this place is a bad interpretation of what Italian food is. Nothing was fresh, there were no clean flavors, and staff was... More

Scotti's is a family run restaurant with authentic Italian cuisine. You never leave feeling empty. The minestrone soup is excellent, as is the osso buco!

Over one hundred years of history. Not a large restaurant and bathroom in the basement. Surprise not busy on Wednesday dinner. Walk to wall tiles that is unique and odd design. Empty Chianti wine bottles hanging from ceiling. Server is friendly and menu has extensive explanation of all the Italian pasta and sauces. Dinner comes with free soup and salad.... More

Scotti's looks exactly the way you picture a classic Italian family restaurant. Dark, candle lit, homey. I love the atmosphere. It's been a long time since I ate there, however, because the huge menu is pricey and the quality wasn't excellent. A very romantic place to dine but don't go expecting the best meal of your life.

This is our "go to" Italian restaurant for authentic homemade Italian food in Cincinnati. Whenever we have guests from out of town we always choose this place for the atmosphere, food and service. The original family has been operating this establishment since 1912, and they still use the original recipes. The soup and salad are included with every meal, and... More
