Honestly, I've never seen an item on the menu for over $70. The atmosphere was ok. The wait staff made up for the hodgepodge seating arrangements as they are housed in a very old police precinct building. The steak was amazing. They obviously know how...More

If you want a great steak in the Cincinnati area, any of Jeff Ruby's restaurants are a Prime choice. My wife and I like the atmosphere of The Precinct. The building is an old police station, thus the name, but an evening here frees you...More

I challenge you to find better steaks anywhere. Great ambiance inside old police station, very good service, excellent wine selection. Certainly on the pricey side but great for a special occasion.

Always heard their steaks were to die for....mediocre at best. Service was exceptional but the large group was placed in a separate room which was crowded. Wine list is excellent but pricey.

My husband and I went here for his birthday and we were not disappointed. Service was impeccable. The house salad is someth No I wish I could replicate, and the steaks...simply the best steaks we ever had. Pricey but so worth it!

We took friends here to celebrate their new house. To see their faces as they tasted the most incredible steak ever was very rewarding. This is a special occasion restaurant that is WELL worth the price tag.

Description
For Jeff Ruby, this is the steakhouse that started it all. In 1981, The Precinct was born in the former Cincinnati Police Patrol House Number 6. This turn-of-the-century, Romanesque-style structure would hold what is now the longest, continuously running white tablecloth restaurant in the city. Recently named one of America's Top 10 Steakhouses by USA Today and Gayot.com, The Precinct is frequently recognized as having Cincinnati’s best steaks, seafood and service. This consistent high level of quality and overall guest experience over 3 decades has endeared Precinct to celebrities, businesspeople, families and loyal diners alike.
