Nope, skip this and bring your own booze and fill up your favorite walkabout cup. This is the most skip-it part of the hotel.

Expensive for such poor service. Not much help to serve or bus tables. Guess what you are there for that. We paid $34 for a beer and a martini with tip. Buy a bottle of wine in the hotel sweet shop and take it to...outside table. Cheaper and better view.More

We drove over from Curry Village at 7pm and we were lucky to get a parking spot. The famous dining room was first-come, first serve and they could not accommodate us. We headed to the bar. There was a bit of a line, but very...friendly and organized. We enjoyed a large pretzel with wine and then enjoyed vegetarian chilli and an fantastic artichoke salad on hummus. We sat at a table in the bar and the delivery of our food and water was fantastic. The wait staff was very friendly.More

We appreciated being able to order a salad and some turkey meatballs from the bar and have it delivered to us on the lovely patio. I spent a long afternoon out there, and consider it one of my happy places. The indoor part of the...bar was lovely too.More

A lovely drink and some pie. Eating outside under an umbrella is just the best. We always rent bikes and then make a side trip to the Ahwahnee. Just beautiful, peaceful, special in every way.

Had a 'prime rib' sandwhich with meat that didn't look or taste like prime rib. Just a lot of grissle

Always a treat to get a table here. The food and service is consistently top quality. We've always eaten inside but they do have outdoor seating with views of the park.

When we checked in at 2pm there was only one option for food- the hotel bar. It was an expensive lunch! The Honey Glazed Sesame Meatballs were really tasty. My best tip- grab sodas at the Sweet Shop right across the lobby ($1.49 vs $6.25)...where they also have a great selection of snacks. There is limited seating inside the bar so you will either sit inside the lobby or outside. My daughter didn’t like the hot dog from the bar and we wound up finding the snacks later at the Sweet shop which would have held her over to dinner. The hot pretzel was giant but underwhelming. If you come to the Ahwahnee bar hop on line (there are 2 lines- 1 for each bartender) and order an El Capitini. Head out back and grab a table to enjoy this delicious cocktail and the amazing viewsMore
