A home converted into a restaurant with great food, sit on porch or inside rooms. A special place to eat B,L,D and have delicious selections. You'll be so happy you took the time to drive over and get a slice of heaven. Look around site,...if you want to come back to camp and do day hikes from. gorgeous location in high sierras. We ate fresh blueberry pancakes with blueberry syrup and crispy bacon. Coffee made from a special blend to delight you but also they will fill up your mug for your day of fun without any extra cost. Excellent service from entire staff. They'll tell you about some hidden treasures to explore along Tioga Road and history of this lovely place.More

I sat at the very same table as Aromasguy and he's not exaggerating - it really was that bad. There even was a piece of spaghetti that was burned. We guessed that it had fallen onto the hot stove and the cook put the burned...spaghetti back into the pot. Breakfast was ok. Nothing to write home about but not horrible.More

I realize there aren't many places to eat in Yosemite, so I suppose I shouldn't complain about WhiteWolf Lodge, but I'm going to. The service was great, so let's start off on a high. Unfortunately the food was just average. I had duck, it was...quite dry but the sauce was pretty good. The spinach salad was very bland. My husband had a ribeye, and it was over cooked and thin. The price of our dinner was pretty much the same as our excellent dinner at the Majestic Yosemite, and didn't even come close to being as good.More

The staff at White Wolf lodge are so willing to make your experience positive….However….. no coffee for breakfast IS a deal breaker. Many excuses were attempted by the staff but it was not for just one day is was days with no coffee. Patrons smiled...and were polite but deep underneath there was frustration with the management. As for me, I drink tea, but caffeine was in need by the majority.More

This place two stars because they have good tea and there is no other place to stay within 30 miles. Let's start, the good was the tea The bad was the Tuesday breakfast that did not have hash browns ( their shipment was late in...being delivered) and little quarter sections of waffles being served instead. Did I mention the powdered eggs? The ugly was the pasta dinner. It was a bad overspiced (with what we have not determined) goulash. And just to prove there is a god. Sitting next to us at the meal was an inspector from the Park service. This guy was getting a writers cramp. I do not usually trash a place but people need to be warned that the food is bloody awful. you have been warned.More

Disregard reviews prior to 2016.... management has changed and, based on our experience at least, things have gone to hades in a hand basket. Our party of four's dinner: Decent salad with fresh greens dressed with basalmic vinegar; not a dressing, just the vinegar, no...oil, no other seasonings. Soup: warm milk with ground broccoli, no seasonings, no potatoes, no thickening, just milk and ground up broccoli. No rolls, no butter. Overcooked spaghetti broken into three inch pieces in a watery sauce of leftover meat and no seasonings or tomatoes. Vegetarian option: pasta with vegetables seasoned with so much cayanne that it was literally inedible. This place serves family style and all twelve of us at the table agreed that this was probably the most terrible meal we had ever paid for ($30!). The servers, nice people, knew this (they have to eat this food too) but offer was made to comp our meal. The concessions in Yosemite are under new management and this is one corporation that clearly has no idea what it is doing. We also had their buffet breakfast one morning; nothing to write home about but better than our dinner fiasco.More

This is a great breakfast stop on the way to upper country or a hike. It opens at 7:30 and the breakfast is a buffet, but the food was good. The bacon was very crisp, the eggs well cooked and the waffles were very good....You can also get oatmeal, fruit, cold cereal , etc. the prices are very reasonable as well.More

I liked everything about the White Wolf. The welcome was great, I had to wait 20 minutes to be seated but that was not a problem because Francesco entertained outside diners and I with his acoustic guitar. I am a solo traveller and, as do...all customers, was seated with other diners at long dining tables. This added to the experience, people were very friendly and we were not stretched for subjects to chat about as we shared Yosemite exploration stories. I was staying in Curry Village which was fantastic (apart from the food) but I think I might stay at the White Wolf next time because of the more adult theme, campfires etc.More

This was our 2nd meal at WW, but our first meal as walk-ins (we were staying at the lodge last time). I knew the routine -- called ahead a week ahead and reserved our spot. Also walked through the list of allergies that my daughter...had. We then had to call back and add two more to our party, than call back and remove one from our party. We felt embarrassed to be changing our reservation so often, but there were no complaints from the staff. At our appointed time, we checked in and were seated in the front porch with two couples. Very interesting people. One had stayed at WW every year for the past 10+ years. The other couple was visiting for the very first time. The experienced couple told us that the menu hasn't changed in the past 10 years. Saturday night was always flat-iron steak night. You could bring your own wine. And the front porch was slowly sinking into the ground. They seemed to know the wait staff -- although they did comment that there seemed like a lot of turnover and many of the regulars had left. Service was a little bit uneven, not excellent like it was last year. No matter. The food was excellent. And even though only 7 people ordered the entree, they brought out 10 large steaks. Our daughter's food took a little longer as they were grilling her steak separately without the mushrooms that she was allergic to. But that seemed reasonable. We enjoyed meeting other people in their travels. And the food hit the spot at the end of a long day of hiking. All in all, a pleasant meal.More

Tuolomne Meadows was a 1.5 hr drive for us, so after a whole day of lolling about the meadows and Lake Tenaya, we started to drive back, wondering what we were going to do about dinner. We had noticed signs for the Lodge on our...drive up, so we decided to pull over to see if they had a restaurant. The travel guide we owned said it was reservation only, but we decided to take a chance. And what a chance. We found a quaint little cabin campsite with a deer roaming about, and a white porch leading into a dining room. They took our reservation for our family of five, we waited about 30 minutes for the first dinner seating at 6pm, joined four strangers at the family-style table, and immediately dug into an incredible Thanksgiving turkey meal and great conversation. And thank the Lord, they had adult beverages too. Yosemite was not our foodie destination for sure, but this meal raised the bar.More
