There are very limited food options along Tioga road so this was one of our only options after leaving the valley. Its basically the same menu as Half Dome village grill. People are really nice and its located next to a general store if you...need supplies.More

This place was happening and it caught us off guard. The grill doesn’t look like much from the outside but they have a decent amount of offerings and for being out there and away from the bustle of Yosemite Valley, the prices were surprisingly very...reasonable. The food did require a little bit of a wait (which was understandable as they were really busy), but it was pretty good for National Park fare. Also, they sold soft serve ice cream which was a real treat even though it was cold already. It reminded me of the old twist ice cream from Costco (which is a good thing). Besides the neighboring grocery store, thisi s the only option anywhere nearby for food. Luckily, it’s actually pretty good in quality and prices.More

Not many places to eat in the middle of Yosemite National Park but this is not to miss. Good burgers, dogs and drinks. Friendly staff and great to sit outside. We remember this place with a smile from our roadtrip! Just remember to have a...shirt on. Another guest tried to order shirtless and that was a no-no. (Understandable.) :-)More

After several days of backpacking, this place was amazing!! Delicious dinner: cheeseburger, potato wedges, salad. And I loved their breakfast: egg sandwich on a biscuit along with their decadent brownie. I usually can't drink American coffee because it's not strong enough but their Peet's coffee...was pretty good. The people that work here are also really nice and helpful.More

We had finished hiking to Gaylor Lakes (above 10,000 ft. elevation) so we were tired and hungry. We decided to stop in at the grill on our drive back to our hotel. It was about 2:30pm and there was a line out the door. Trust...me, it was worth the wait. I do have to mention, the line went fast because the employees were working their butts off. We were floored by the affordability of the menu items! $6.25 for a cheeseburger and $3.50 for a side of potato wedges. We were happy to pay. The cheeseburger was simple and tasty. The potato wedges were flavorful and cooked perfectly. All the tables were taken, so we found a restful spot on the other side of the road and looked at the meadow. Can't get much better than sitting in the sunshine and enjoying the view while eating lunch! If you're hungry, definitely stop here for a full meal or tasty treat. They sell soft-serve ice cream.More

Skip the hamburgers, too dried. My husband gripped the half of. Y chili dog because he couldn’t eat his double hamburgers.

Stopped at this little tiny building in the middle of nowhere and had a really good cheeseburger. I don't eat a lot of burgers but this one was juicy and tasty. My husband enjoyed his vegetable chili. There are outside tables so it was just...what we needed after hiking Lembert Dome.More

You could think that being the only place to get some food in this part of Yosemite Park, it would be overpriced and not very good, but on the contrary: great fresh food, good burgers and hot-dogs, reasonnably priced. Amazingly good.

Soft serve ice cream is one thing I can use to convince my 10 year old son that he has a few more miles in him on any given hike. He was thrilled they served it in a cup AND gave him the cone! The...iced coffee wasn’t bad either. Burgers, fries, breakfast and some vegetarian options. Everything tastes great after miles and miles!More

In a little wooden, 1 Story flat housing an in/out store, a Post Office, and this SRO Tuolumne Meadows Grill....you’d expect burgers, fries, dogs......and you’d be right. But...but....Hungarian Goulash? Seriously? Certainly an oasis miles and miles from ANYWHERE, it becomes the go to stop for...many returning from the nearby trailheads and campgrounds or those just heading out. Build this into your schedule even if it’s only a stopgap food break. It’s well worth it......you’ll be glad you did. (And don’t forget Lemberg Dome Down the road...something to behold!)More

Google Maps shows 1.4 miles. That sounds about right. That's about 30 minutes to walk or $2 to take the shuttle.
