Went to this place for "Rundown" we Pre-ordered.... glad we tried it but no need to repeat.... lobster tail , shrimp and king fish with all kinds of starchy stuff like cassava , plantain, green banana and something else very starchy simmered in a coconut broth. Big portion and not expensive at all but one can only eat so much... More

Our neighbors at the Parasio Beach Hotel recommended this restaurant on the north end. A 10 minute taxi($1.40) dropped us off at a home across from the beach, with a long view to Little Corn Island. After sitting at one of the 7 porch tables, the waitress explained the 3 different preparations of either fish, lobster or shrimp. She served... More

We had 2 meals at Maris - one for a lobster dinner which was great, and then we had the rundown. The lobster dinner was really good - really just done in traditional style with lemon and butter and served with some basic vegetables. We also had the rundown - which was good - although maybe not as good as... More

I eat at this restaurant every time I go to visit the island! It's a hidden gem! Everything they offer is delicious!!! Best on the island! 🤗 I recommend the lobster tail ceviche.

Though highly rated on both Tripadvisor and Lonelyplanet, the restaurant remains a bit of a secret spot on the island, it's kind of someone's house type of vibe. It's just off the main road so you have to know where to look for it. The food is absolutely delicious and the prices are correct. You can order a great rondon... More

This restaurant is spotless, the food is delicious and very reasonably priced. The washroom, house and outside seating area is impeccable. We were a table of four and the food was amazing.

We actually stayed here for a few nights, took advantage of Danet's meal plan. The specialty here is seafood, lobster and rundown are particularly yummy! There's not much else out there except the bakery, do not miss it!! The island bus will drop you off or pick you up, and there a gazillion cabs cruising around.

We stopped at this restaurant based on a recommendation from a couple we were sharing a cab with. No menus, Maris just lists off her menu for you. He ordered the shrimp with jalapeno cream sauce, I ordered the lobster. Both were wonderful and super fresh. I'm glad we stopped here for our last dinner on Big Corn Island.

We had read about this place in a traveller's blog saying that eating at Danette's place was not to be missed. We had ordered the RonDon a day in advance (I think you need to order it at least 3 hrs in advance as it takes time to make). It was absolutely worth the wait. This may have been one of... More
