Unique location in old gas station. Roasted pig in a BBQ pit made out of an old burned out pickup truck. Ask about the story behind it. Great seafood, if available ask for the Caribbean lobster, roasted pig, mofongo. Great friendly service. Reasonable prices. Worth the trip. Five minutes away from Conquistador Hotel.

You need to try this. Great food and place. You have to go there if you are nearby. Call before as to check if they are open.

As always the food is amazing and is a must stop when close. Mofungo is key or the steak or if you in the mood for a great burger.

While on vacation in Puerto Rico over the Thanksgiving holiday, we were undecided on what to do for turkey-day dinner. Our rental house had an oven, but wasn't really set up to cook for 11. A random stranger at wal mart made two recommendations in Fajardo, near El Conquistador hotel. La Estacion was able to make reservations for Thanksgiving dinner... More

We recently visited La Estacion and had a disappointing experience. We had been here several times previously during our stays in Fajardo and really liked the place. However, this time was different. Upon arrival, they had botched our reservation... we emailed earlier in the day & received confirmation but upon arrival, no res. They quickly recovered and seated us,which was... More

First, the website says nothing about getting reservations, but you should, because there could be a long wait if you don't. Anyway, it describes itself as a newyorican bbq & grill, which is a good description. Pretty much everything we ordered was well prepared; pork as both main course (medallions) and appetizer (pinchos), mofongo (mashed plaintains), a corn soup special,... More

Food was delicious, drinks were super! The patio is beautiful and has a fun atmosphere. Pedro our server was attentive and we opted to sit inside, which is also very pretty. I would definitely return, guests were all very happy. Desserts were good as well. Pay them a visit, you won't be sorry!

La Estacion (restaurant/bar) and neighboring Auto (cafe) are a renovated gas station and have a wonderful ambiance. Lorna was our waitress at La Estacion. She is charming as well as fluent in Spanish and English. Not only did she make sure we knew the specials but more importantly the subtleties of the dishes we were most interested in. We shared... Really Funky venue but great staff and outstanding food. Drinks well made and just an overall enjoble laid back vibe. Will be back again come January 2017.

Thank Forrest L
