Been here for a second time. Simple rustic place with great food for the price. This time though, the silver haired thin gentleman at the counter had a rude attitude, not welcoming at all and rolling his eyes in annoyance when asking simple questions about the menu, there's no waiter here.

This is not a fancy place, it definitely needs some love. However the food is very good, specially if you are looking for authentic local cuisine or seafood. In my personal opinion I prefer the lunch menu to the entree plates. The drinks are cheap and heavy (double win). Ask Ricky for his Long island's. You might think - "Long... More

My husband and son had gone fishing and had a fish they wanted cooked. El Racar was willing to do that so we ate there despite my wanting to eat down the street. The restaurant looks super sketchy but is conveniently located in the Las Croabas area. There's very little atmosphere and some health code violations but the food was... More

We went hungry, which wasn't smart. The food takes a while, but its good. It was packed when we went, which could have contributed to the wait time. The view is beautiful!

We stayed near the Las Croabas Marina for part of our trip to PR and found we could easily walk to this location for a meal. It was very authentic and seemed to be much of a local hangout. They even had some kind of karaoke event about to start as we were leaving. The food was good and my... More

Our 15yr old daughter hated the looks of this place, but since she wasn't paying we were staying. We really like a dive bar/joint kind of place and this was good. We waited a while to figure out if they do table service, but they do if you order a meal/entree. We had the kingfish and the red snapper and... More

We visited this small open-air restaurant 3 times during our stay in Fajardo. The food is simple, but good. We stopped in one last time on a Sunday late afternoon. I was surprised by how crowded it was. They even had karaoke going on. We met the owner on 2 different occasions and he gave us some free samples of... More

Reviews were mixed on this place. While it wasn't bad, it wasn't great either. Food was decent. Steak was tough and chewy. Conch empanadas were delicious. Service was good enough. Great views of the harbour. Overall, just not our kind of place.

Equates to a neighborhood bar, cheap drinks and plenty of locals. Food was decent - had the mofungo stuffed with shrimp and hubby had the fried pork - and reasonably priced but no atmosphere to entice me to stay for a while.
