Good selection of food on offer but it is expensive. $24.50 for a Caesar Salad was over the top and not worth it. I'll assume there's only one chef on site because our meals took for ever and a medium cooked steak came to me as a charred piece of leather that I couldn't finish. $34 poorer for the experience.... In the middle of nowhere is a knockout of an oasis Len Beadells history abounds. Although this is still a military base there is plenty to interest visitors. Restaurant and limited supplies available.

The wine was good. The staff were pleasant. But two meals ordered at 7:14pm had not arrived by 8:20. Yes, they were busy and we were not the only ones to be delayed. Asked for a refund and was given it without question.

We stopped here for dinner on an overnight stay in Woomera. The bar staff were ok but the food was incredibly overpriced and fairly average. The restaurant waitress was lovely though and told us quite a bit about the history of the restaurant.

I order a pork cutlet with sweet potato mash and crispy sweet potato chips. The pork was very nicely cooked and the plating also added to the appeal. Complemented by a pint of Cooper Pale ale it made for a very pleasant meal indeed.

Was advised that this spot was great for lunch. 2 couples. ..we stopped and it dud look very quiet. Entered and as we got to top of stairs , 3 staff asked what we wanted. We asked about lunches. ....no...then bar service then? The mannerisms from 3 staff sitting down were awful.... ..and all we were told was " there's... More

We were meeting up with family who suggested we go here for dinner. WOW! so glad we did. You walk up a few stairs to a vista of large glass windows and lovely lounge area for pre-dinner drinks. It was an unexpected surprise. The staff at the bar when we arrived were fantastic. We chose a table and placed our... More

We recently dined here for 2 nights. A surprisingly updated hotel with great food and service, Bar times are limited earlier in the week, 4:00pm to 9:30pm on Monday and Tuesday, with a happy hour 5-6. Menu was extensive with everything from pub food, to pizzas to outback mixed grill. A long list of chefs special were on a board... More

We stayed in a 2 bedroom ,room was very clean, very basic but the bed was so comfortable I would have liked one at home. The actual Hotel dining area was very modern and the food was excellent. A good stop over if you do not want to drive all the way to Coober Pedy from Adelaide in one day.... More
