We ate here this fall during our Puglian vacation and have to say it was FANTASTIC! Definitely memorable not only because of the abundant and delicious food, but because of the great service! I can't recommend this place strongly enough, and would make a point of going again!!

We went there after an olive oil tasting following the recommendation of the owner. The place is easy to find and has a very nice and clean interior. We ordered Gnocci and escalope. We got some very nice bruschetta on the house to start with. Food and service was very good. If you are hungry exploring the old town the... More

Four of us had an excellent lunch in this small and welcoming restaurant. The hosts kindly explained the dishes in great detail, and even invited us to see the special Pugliese fornello they had used for slow roasting the meat. We had a good, reasonably priced local wine. Coffee and desserts were equally commendable.

Italian friends of ours from the U.S. who grew up in Martina Franca recommended this restaurant. Delicious food; many different types of antipasti and a variety of small local dishes to try were all wonderful. Variety of meats for the next course although the first course would've been enough for me. Primitivo house wine was excellent. Delicious lemon sorbet to... More

We were thoroughly pleased with our lunch today. We shared some orecchiette, a veal chop and a mixed salad (house red wine and water) and I'm not even hungry for dinner. This was recommended by our B & B, La Volpina, and we were not disappointed.

Three of us went here for lunch. For two of us it was a first visit. The food was good quality and a good variety. The Polpetti (meat balls were rather strange inside apparently - I did not try them and there is comment about them on other feedbacks). Antipasto was very nice and typical of local cuisine. Two of... More

Welcoming, brightly lit and seemingly popular with locals. We shared a lovely risotto to start which as others say was very nice. Had to wait 15 mins for it which is a good sign! Subsequent mixed grill was just ok. However the real disappointment was the meatballs' finely ground mealy things in a watery tomato sauce. Friendly staff, but left... More

Lovely food, particularly the risotto. Good service and value for money. Right in the heart of the Centro Storico of Martina Franca.

Passing through Martina Franca in a rainy july day, a little ristorante saved our hunger and our clothes. Excellent food, made with passion (antipasti, pastas, the veal chop etc), a decent house wine and a good serving - that's all you can need from a Puglian cool lunch. Bravo!
