Had a great dinner here with my grandson and highly recommend. Everything was delicious and the wine list is amazing. I would love to go back here!

This is a lovely find. The food is good - not special - but good enough we went twice. The atmosphere is fantastic - really authentic and rustic, which kind if heightened how enjoyable the food was. The local wine served here is cheap but very drinkable. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed it and would go back if we... More

Ordered the tagliatelle with pork sauce - it was just tomato sauce although waitress insisted it was with pork; perhaps they dipped in a pork bone! Furthermore, it was such a small amount of sauce the pasta was basically dry....the waitress brought me some extra sauce. Second dish of lamb was mediocre. You can eat much better in other restaurants... More

This lunch was included in our Montelbano tour. The antipasti was a lovely selection of Sicilian specialities including arrancini. Then we had a nice pesto pasta dish. Followed by a pork stew plus salad and fresh vegetables. The portions are generous and we just squeezed a lemon jelly to finish.

Having seen previous good reviews we decided to eat here. Food was OK but nothing special and service was poor. Admittedly we were the first customers to arrive but the young woman waitress was hardly welcoming and disappeared for long periods of time leaving no-one front of house.

This is a small restaurant that is popular with locals. The location is not very far from the town centre but off the beaten track for tourists which can be a bonus, depending upon your viewpoint. It is simply furnished. The menu is not large but the meals are all typical Sicilian dishes and very tasty indeed. Our group shared... More

This restaurant is not downtown and thus it has less tourists there. The staff speaks hardly any english yet they are helpful and attentive. The food was with very fresh and high quality ingredients. No special complicated recipes - just plain sicillian food.

Il Girasole is a wonderful, casual eatery that specialises in traditional Sicilian food with a home-cooked vibe. Our pasta dishes (ricotta ravioli with pork sauce, and sausage and mushroom pasta) were particularly outstanding. The prices were very reasonable also; two pasta dishes, two mains, a shared dessert, and a 500ml carafe of wine came to 42 euros. The place is... More

10minutes by walk from Corso UMberto, this trattoria is frequented by regulars. Waitress knew the customers. Place was fullup in 30minutes but tables are spaced out. Good value and menu

We loved this restaurant. It was packed with locals and the food was simple and rustic hit absolutely delicious, fresh and full of flavour. I ate the broad bean soup with lolli pasta which was wonderful and then had the lamb chops which flaked off the bone. My husband had the tagliatelle with wild fennel which was delicious followed by... More
