An unpretentious beerhouse, with the best food. The “asinhas de frango” (chicken wings) are wonderful. The beer is particularly good. Ask for the Especial (Melo Abreu) draft.

The owner is really nice and the seafood fresh and reasonably priced. Try the meal of day, octopus rice, cavacos and the dessert boca doce.
A typical local restaurant at the island. Pleasant staff, honest food and always ready to serve you. A good place to go for a coffee or lady minute meal, if you are around Ribeira Grande!
