We have ordered our take away from here several times now. Always happy with the food. The portion sizes are great and the fish seems fresh. The only down side is when ordering at busy times, lets just say it's a little cramped.. we did try a phone order once but we were only offered a slot an hour and... More

Fish cooked well but cool. Mushy peas cold. Chips and vegetables lukewarm. Strange because vine tomotoes hot.

This is a no frills fish n chip restaurant. It's obviously very popular with the locals judging by the queue for takeaways. The eat in section is fairly cramped (no good for wheelchairs, strollers or buggies). The staff are very welcoming and friendly, but we had to wait a very long time for our food to arrive and, when it... More

The Premier Cafe maybe a bit strange. Odd ordering. Bit long winded. Bit of a small cafe. But worth a visit. All the food is cooked to order. Bit slow but worth the wait. Top billing in the Cod goujons with Chips. Also the curry sauce is also not to be missed.

It's lunchtime and into the takeaway I pop to get lunch for my group of 10. Basil Fawlty behind the counter takes one look at me and says " You're standing in the wrong place - you don't order from there" which was strange considering that he was standing at the counter facing me. Perhaps he wanted me to shout... More

Ate in cafe on Friday evening. Did not pre book. Disappointed initially as no local plaice nor Exe mussels available on the day, so chose the local hake which was offered either battered or grilled -I chose the grilled option and found it to be cooked to perfection with good crisp chips and home made tartare sauce. My husband chose... More

Great fish and chip just a 5 min walk to the beach or they have a seated restaurant. We have always had takeaway as the beach views are amazing. They cook to order so it can take a few minutes but the wait is worth it. Great portion size with great crispy batter and as good a chip as you... More

Four of us ate here. The men had fish and chips which was excellent. The women had a very good fish pie. We had the smaller portions and were glad we did. Service very good but not the surroundings to linger in.
