Nice place to eat. Most tables outside. Most things on menu but some dishes come with a lot of mayonnaise !

The sushi was fresh, fresh catches daily available on the menu. The service was excellent and our waiter recommended different options and foods. I really enjoyed the seaweed salad as it was different compared to all salads I've had of that style. Pro - They have non sushi for the non sushi eaters.

After seeing a few mixed recent reviews we weren't sure but the overall rating was so high we thought we would try it out. Not disappointed at all. Had a crab toast to start which was a glorified tostada but was exceptionally tasty. The lobster roll was delicious and tuna maki rolls were epic. Would recommend for sure. It wasn't... More

So the 9 y/o loves sushi and was thrilled to find out that there was a place here on the island. We stopped in for an early dinner. Husband ordered a beer and I ordered a Caparina. For dinner we ordered a couple of pieces of salmon and local white fish with truffle oil, some noodles and plain rice for... More

Following reviews from fellow travellers, we checked out El Sushi de Holbox for a change from the usual mexican fare we had been consuming during our time in Holbox. Cocktail list was great, definitely recommend the lychee martini! We ordered the salmon sashimi, tuna tartare and the lobster roll - the latter tasting simply suberb. Also good value and fun... My son really wanted sushi so we stopped in here to try a few rolls. Tho the ingredients tasted fresh, it seemed that there was an over reliance on mayonnaise in the three rolls we tried. Surprisingly enough we preferred the more basic rolls than the one specialty roll we tried. Portions were nice and large, tho they skimped on... More

We love sushi and eat it often back home in NJ, so it's not the first cuisine we think of when visiting Mexico. However, we decided to drop in for dinner to visit our good friend Aurelio, and we're so glad we did! This sushi has a unique Mexican twist, and the citrus soy sauce and pepper sauces are AMAZING!... waited 45 minutes for our 2 rolls and 1 noodles order. there were only 3 tables except us so there is no excuse if there is an excuse for that. i didn't let the food arrive at my table, I told the waiter to give me the check for the drinks because I'm leaving. what a ridiculous place.

The sushi, the gioza and the cake were really good and the service was also excellent. The waitress was so nice, she even taught us some Spanish. Highly recommended!

The food was good, but it took a while to get our appetizer and even longer to get our food. The delay was much longer than expected.

El Sushi de Holbox is the best asiatic restaurant in the Island. Our starter, fresh tuna tiradito won the first price on the holbox gastronomic awards. The terrace has a wonderful atmosphere as it is hidden from the noise of the street. Come and enjoy of our chefs rolls as sakana roll, niguiris or just a delicious margarita!
