This is a sweet little traditional cafe; we went for breakfast before checking out the convent close by. Unfortunately our 'hot cakes' were completely raw in the middle and so largely inedible.

We found the food to be amazing. The papadzules were the best I ever had! The other items were great as well. The service was friendly and fast. We will be back next time we are in Izamal!

Food was plain local fare--grilled meats but also tacos, etc. It was inexpensive as I remember, and friendly staff. Not fancy but I'd return. Cold beer too.
I found this place by accident wandering around my first day in Izamal. Worth a stop. The food is good, the prices reasonable, and the service efficient and pleasant. It's near the bus station and principal taxi stand, too.
We've been here a few times over the years and it has always been a good restaurant. Good food and great service. We were here a few weeks ago and I love the botanas they are now serving. It is my Izamal staple.
One can enjoy good, typical, reasonably priced Yucatecan food here. Clean, good service. My husband and I have dined here often.
The dish we had was very good. The waiter "Edgar" told us the meal was a combination of Maya and spanish influence. None the less it was more flavourful than eye appealing
