The foods were freshly prepared and the service was great. We went during the day so it wasn't that busy. It gets really busy at nights because the town comes to life at night and there's lots more people then.

After more than 8 years of living in Penang it was the first time we were there. Dirty place; The ceiling fans were the dirtiest fans I have ever seen in my life, all chairs and tables broken and dirty. Oily food and very bad...in presentation. Small portion of food and expensive in compare with other restaurants in Penang. And in the end very bad behavior of the restaurant waiter for criticizing them. I am surprise how come some people rated them high here …More

Read my other reviews. I am very positive and give good ratings. Where do I start here. Well they got the order wrong and insisted on serving food we never ordered. Despite us requesting they take it back they passed it around and when they...finally took it back, it still appeared on the bill. The service. Just placed the food in front of me and asked me to spread it amongst the 9 guests. Seriously? And then there were the 2 star bucks cups they refused to clear from the table. They would clear everything else bar that. Now I get that this came from outside, but we spent over 600 MYR there and that is not really a big deal. The food was just ok. Just don't order the fries which were drenched in dirty oil. The shisha... where do I start. The 2 we ordered just were too hard to smoke, and despite asking them to fix it, the response was we aren't using it correctly. Oh from a group that smoked Shisha every night elsewhere. Now we still had a smile on our face. And we walked out with a smile. But not even a thank you for coming nor farewell was coming. Save yourself and walk another 50m (or walk back) and get directed to a table at the Lebanon Restaurant, where the food, service & value for money are greater. The 1st and last time I would visit this place.More

very delicious food with a big variety of middle east dishes, very friendly stuff and great service with good price for good quality

Ambience was good for a family, we ordered grill and some starters. Coming from Middle East, I couldn't but to compare the meals to what we are used to. They have a good variety of food but quality is little lower than we expected form...a well presented restaurant. I also tried Shisha which was a bit of disappointment to me.More

Overall very good food. Ambience was nice also. Vegetarian options were ok, but not as many as I had expected. Good service also.

We stumbled across this restaurant, a short walk away form the Parkroyal resort where we stayed, and we were so glad we did. The food was incredible and relatively good value for money. There is a lot of meat on the menu and from what...my family and friends said, they were all delicious. If you are vegetarian don't worry! I am vegan and the waiter was very helpful, explaining each dish and confirming which had dairy. I had a mixed plate of salad and spreads which included a delightfully fresh tabbouleh and one of the best hummus I have tried. With lavash bread, it was a lovely meal. If you are saying in Batu Ferrignhi and want a change from local Penang food, please eat here!More

We did enjoy the mixed grill and the salads, their rice and the sheesha in an authentic atmosphere and good service. Recommendable and very suitable setting.

We went to Penang at a quieter time so the service should have been better but overall wasn't bad. it was a nice change from Macdonalds but not as great as I was expecting it to be.
