This place offers reasonably priced local food and I think by far the best at Ferringhi Beach. You have a wide choice - Penang laksa, char kway teow, bak-ku-teh, fishball noodle, western food and others. The kedong-dong (I think they called "umbra") was good.

Good idea to have all the little cooking places round a central square. Pick your table, pick your food and enjoy. Beer good, wine disappointing. If you don't like what you ordered first time, there is plenty of alternative choice.

Conveniently located near the Golden Sands part of Batu Ferringhi offering a local alternative to the hotel buffets at a cheaper price. There are lots of stalls offering a variety of Malaysian favourites so you can pick and choose what you want. The food is...More

The char koay teow has lost its unique taste and it’s portion size has diminished. RM5 for a mere mouthful. However the fried oyster egg is worth raving for. At RM8 per plate you get succulent oysters and plenty of value for money. The bak...More

We ate here most nights of our holiday. We managed to get our way round at least 10 of the different food stalls and we didn't have a bad meal at any of them. Great good, fab service and extremely cheap. We never spent more...More

Typically busy around 8pm when it creates the most atmosphere. Seems to close around 10pm. A number of specialist hawker stalls surround a common eating area. Great food and good prices. A good fun place.

Long Beach is a collection of street stalls surrounding the sitting area. It is located outside and offers many cuisines including Malaysian. In the area there are not so many restaurants offering Malay food so I thought it appropiate to add this 'restaurant' to the listings, although most would probably not class it as a conventional one!
