We went there for dinner and the food was average. The seafood price are stated as "market price", you need to ask the price before order. We did not ask and order 6 medium prawns and they charged RM10 per prawn which is very pricy...and expensive. We order a vege, egg, 6 prawns and fired chicken and it cost RM125. Not worth it.More
We went here as a group of 4, with a table booking. We thought it will be sea facing and we will get to experience the sunset however note that to sit at the beachfront, that’s the Bora Bora pub which is another establishment but...is at the back of the restaurant. Many walk in tourists through the resto and pub just to get to the beach for the amazing sunset view. It’s a free public beach so expect the crowd. Food wise, it was pretty good - we especially love the Nyonya Inchi Kabin chicken and Teochew style steamed fish. Other dishes included stir fry Royal chives, prawns and not forgetting, the Hainanese spring roll which goes well with Worcester sauce with cut chillies. For drinks we still have to order from Bora Bora. Overall while the food is delicious the price is a tad too expensive.More
Just finish my dinner and I found that the food nice but it's very expensive to local Malaysia. I had been charge for prawn which cost me one piece RM10. The waiter told me the price but what to do, we really lazy to find...other restaurants. We order lala, chicken , 5 piece prawn and Japanese tauu, without drinks cost me nearly rm150. I hope local who wanna eat for dinner please drive to town to have cheaper and nice seafood .More
There weren’t many restaurant recommendations if you had to google “best places to eat in Batu Ferringhi”, decided to give this one a try as recommended by Tripadvisor and WOW the food is GOOD! Ordered a number of dishes and they’re all so tasty! Highly...recommend the spring roll “Choon Phneah” and fried chicken, as well as kam heong squids. And bonus, you can directly get to the beach as they’re facing the sea. If you don’t want to dine here but only want to get to the beach, you can also park your car here for a fee and cut through the restaurant to get there. Went on a weekday, on opening time, and it starts to get crowded around 7pm. Arrive early if you want a good spot. Reservations not necessary on a weekday.More
Came with my parents and brother (home from KL). They use to come here often a few years ago. We ordered grilled snapper, kari kapitan chicken, choon piah, siew pak choy stir fried with minced garlic and foo yoong egg. And a seaweed soup. All...dishes were admittedly good. Except the soup is way under seasoned. Let me talk about the misleading pricing on menu. All prices indicated are for “small”; so even if you order a medium kari kapitan chicken, the final price charged is likely to be 2x menu price. Other hainanese or nyonya restaurants will charge incrementally more for larger serving AND they do indicate the prices for medium and large sizes. Next table auntie shook her head walking back to table after paying their bill..More
Just walked in for dinner and was able to get a table right next to the beach, nice views and gently breeze from the ocean, the chicken curry was amazing, but the lamb we ordered was super tough, overall was ok and cheap prices, you...can also ask how spicy you want each dish to beMore
Do not eat the clay pot yam with duck. The popiah was not good. The drinks is overwhelming pricy! Not advisable to dine here. If you are going for sunset view with drinks, please go to bora bora just next door.
Forget the Ship next door and spend a pleasant afternoon or evening at this restaurant right on the beach. Great food at reasonable prices and attentive staff but try for a table next to the beach and chill and watch the world go by. Good...portions and tasty Asian and Indian food with ice cold drinks makes this one of the better places to eat in Batu Ferringhi.More
A very cosy restaurant with sea view and yummy dishes . They are known for their ‘Chung Pia’ a special homemade crispy spring roll. Nice cosy ambience with sea breeze.
A beachside dinner in a typical Asian restaurant. The seafood that we ordered - steamed fish, fried prawns and crabs were all fresh and delicious. Good and clean environment. Open only for the evenings and usually expect a crowd towards the later part of the...evening. A good place to have a decent meal with friends and family members.More
Had lunch here. My sister in law explained about my allergies and they were very helpful. We had rice noodle with veg, tofu and veg and sweat potato leaves. Every bit of it’s delicious. The service was very good and the bill was 43 Ringot...around £8.0More
Food was good, especially the Cheun Peah. Go around sunset to have the added bonus of sunset with food
Beach Corner Seafood shares a dining room with a Grill Restaurant, so make sure you sit to the right of the room if you want to eat from the Beach Corner menu. The restaurant serves delicious Chinese food, and fresh seafood. We enjoyed the garlic...prawns, fresh fish cooked in sweet and sour style, fried rice (for which they are famous) and the belacan fried chicken (really yum) as well as stir fried kangkung. The restaurant is on the beach so there is a cool breeze as well as sunset view. Recommended!More
We love this place which was recommended to us by family who live in Penang. Make sure you try the spring rolls - they are the best! Note that there are two restaurants in the same space - the Indian/Western and Drinks are on one...side - Beach Corner is on the other half which is the Chinese cuisine. If you are coming in from the beach you’ll need to walk through to get to Beach Corner inside. Also note that it’s closed on Wednesdays and the chef stops cooking around 9.30pmMore
