This restaurant is more than a grill and more of a sophisticated french restaurant. The service was impeccable, very attentive and discreet. I had the foie gras terrine (excellent), the snapper and the crêpe suzette flambeed by our table. We had a fantastic dinner and...will definitely return.More

My party of six individuals chose this fine dining restaurant for a special wedding anniversary dinner. The dinner was on a Saturday night and the restaurant was almost full to capacity. The place had a nice feel to it and the ambiance was just perfect....We all had starters: some had Caesar's salad, others chose soups.............the tomato soup was excellent. For main course, I had Wagyu Tenderloin, others had Grilled Salmon, Lamb Cutlet, Snapper and Tiger Shrimps and Cannellioni. I know for sure that my steak and the lamb cutlets lived up to expectations. The others were good. We also had a bottle of champagne with the meals .....OW -V. Clicquot. For desert, we chose Crepe Suzette............one of our regular favourites. The meal on the whole lived up to expectations. The service was of a high standard and the staff were extremely courteous..The one drawback to the whole dining experience was the unusually slow service! Although we came in at about 8.00 pm or so, we had our main course at ten minutes to 10 pm! I guess the full house meant that the kitchen and staff had difficulty coping with the numbers.More

Whether staying at the Shangri-La’s Rasa Sayang Resort, or at another hotel on the island state, dinner at the Feringgi Grill should not be missed. We always punctuate our stay at the Rasa Sayang with a number of evenings at the FG. The quality of...food and service remained unequalled in all of our dining experiences in Malaysia. The menu is varied, though our favourite has to be the chateaubriand....a prime filet of beef for two to share - just delectable! During every evening in the restaurant, we also ensure that we choose one of the table-side prepared dishes, from classic Cesar salad, to flambé gin & tomato soup. All of the team, from the kitchen brigade to those on the restaurant floor, are warm, friendly & engaging and many have become friends over the years.... it’s what draws us back year after year. With the world currently unable to travel, we look back on many happy times spent at the FG and also looking forward to the time when we can enjoy our next visit in 2021.More

A week ago, four of us went out for dinner at the Feringgi Grill. It was a Saturday night and busy but the service was still impeccable much of which we attribute to the Manager, Izahan who seemed to have control of everything. When he...wasnt engaging guests, he was a Sommelier, and he was even making tableside flaming desserts as well as starters. He and his team never missed a beat. The food from start to finish was great. We had the lamb, wagyu ribeye, snapper and many different starters. Each one was well prepared, well presented and tasted great. Feringgi Grill is not inexpensive. And for most of us, it has to be a special occasion. But if you want a wonderful meal with great wines, in a wonderful atmosphere, it is a great night out. Lastly, for some of us, this is a big deal...the bartender makes a great Martini.More

Had a wonderful meal at this restaurant last night. Beautiful meal, excellent service and good choice. A little expensive but you get a quality experience. I am vegetarian and finding good vegetarian menus is not always the case. I had probably the most delicious tomato...soup I’ve ever had, flambé at the table quite a surprise. Followed by a red wine risotto, also delicious. The portions aren’t large but between dishes you get a palate cleanser & an amuse bouche to start. My husband enjoyed a salmon dish which was also beautifully cooked. Choosing not to have a dessert we were brought chocolates to have with our coffee. To top it off I was given a beautiful single long stemmed rose. I will be returning.More
