This restaurant opened in its new premises yesterday. We visited their other restaurant on Monday and couldn't wait to try the newly appointed premises. This restaurant is roomy, clean and the food was excellent. We ate the same food as Monday, the standard was identical,...well presented, hot and tasty. Would definitely recommend a visit. It isn’t licensed so you can take your own beer/wine. Well done to all the staff and good luck in your new premises.More

Ok, so we have upset stomachs and we don't want curry and we are not hungry - this food is OK :-) - the salad is clean and even without an appetite you can and do eat it, It is lebanese style with houmous (chickpea...mousse). Tastes good, is good. Cafe style seating, half inside half outside, not loud, quick service, prices not bad. 69, Jalan Batu Ferringhi, 11100 Batu Ferringhi, Pulau Pinang, Malaysia, near to end of night market.More

After a week eat predominantly Malaysian cuisine we wanted something different. My daughter loves hummus so we went to what we thought was called ‘Lebanon’ close to the Parkroyal and it did not disappoint. We ordered the mixed entree with 3 dips, bread, dolmades, pickles...and fattoush salad followed by a mixed grill it was a perfect amount for the 3 of us. They had an air conditioned areas and an open air front of house we opted for the A/C. We were hungry when we arrived the food service was super quick but I forgot to take photos. FYI They don’t serve alcohol.More

It was refreshing to try a different cuisine altogether. The waiter was extremely welcoming and friendly. The food was prepared and served in good time, and was overall better than I expected.

My first time eating Lebanese food and what a treat! We went back twice the food was so good. A very nice looking restaurant. My only (small) complaint was that it was right by the roadside and there were plenty of motorbikes going past which...made a lot of noise but other than that it was by far our best meal in Penang. The waiters were friendly and helpful, the food arrived pretty quick, the food was reasonably priced (as most places in Penang) and it was DELICIOUS. I wanted to go back for a third time but got outvoted by my wife and friends. Instead we went to the Living Room for our lst meal and that was very disappointing. If you go to Penang, Batu Ferringhi you must try this place.More

1) Slow service (hat to remind them to bring drinks, probably waited 45min for food) 2) Located at the busiest road. Very noisy. 3) Most dishes are Indian and Western (Pizza & Pasta). Very few Lebanese 4) Seafood 'platter' is a plate with a fish...filet, 3 prawns and 1 small squid. All of these are covered in some Indian marinade and taste the same. Salad is dry (no sauce/oil/vinegar). Fries are not home made of course. 65MYR (=16USD). 5) As point 4 already suggests: overpriced. 10% service charge is cheeky. Well, sometimes you make bad choices when coming hungry from the beach. Don't do the same.More

Food - Not bad but small portions. Good vegetarian options. Bread was a bit stale . Price - average Drinks - good mocktails /shakes . Pricey though. Hygiene- Appeared clean and well spaced. Atmosphere - busy with right on the main street but private area...was available. For a vegetarian , this place had choice , reasonable and tasty enough. Shisha was available but did not have a designated area and few tables had them around us so you could smell the fumes . No good for people who don`t do shisha.More

We came on a Wednesday evening around nine o,clock when the night market and the restaurant was nearly empty. We had a nice selection of different foods and platters, staff very friendly, and we enjoyed the taste very much. The restaurant looks much nicer and...cleaner than the restaurants besides but the price level is similar. Get better atmosphere and food for the same price !More

I am vegan so i had the vegan option classic, falafel. Which was nice, came with a small bit of cucumber and lettuce. But I got a bigger portion of falafel with large accompanying salad (chopped cucumber, tomatoe, lettuce and vinaigrette) at Rubin Mardini (amazing...food! Super cheap!! And almost next door) for half the price. I also had the vege mousaka which was really nice. But i think very over priced and portion was tiny. Service was good although that is something that i don't really care about. Waiters can slap me and call me a @#%£ as far as I'm concerned, so long as the food is nice, good value and doesn't precede me spending 24 hours on the toilet. I think this place would be great if the prices were all halved. As it is the food is nice but portions are half what they should be and prices are double what they should be. Only tried lebanon as they have a mousaka without lamb which rubin mardini doesn't.More

There are A LOT of places to go to eat in Batu Ferringhi. Some time we have been lucky, sometime... not really! This was one of the "not really" *** Place *** Does not look that bad from the outside. Seems to be a pretty...large restaurant, so you imagine that food will be good, and service to... Wrong! *** Food & Beverages *** Ok, Muslim restaurant, so of course no pork. Absolutely. But... not everybody is a Muslim, so at least have beers to serve, closed, absolutely closed, to the customers... no? ...No... Also the food (we took what was supposed to be two plates of BBQ, meat and fish) was... meh... Not that good, neither that much, 4 tiny shrimps, one piece of undefined fish... three sausages, two pieces of bone with some meat around... No, definitely, much nicer places to go to eat in the area, also for a much better quality and a fairer price as well. *** Service *** SLOW! When we arrived, only 2 other tables were occupied, and another got occupied just after us. It took some 20 minutes to be served, and 10 minutes to get the beveragesMore

Service= friendly and punctual. Food- mix dips was ok, bread came from a plastic pack. Canned lentil soup. Chicken Shish was ok- fair~good meat quality but side dishes were dull. Tabouleh was well below standard. Parsley only basically. Motorbikes revving and pulling up during the...meal, no good for a quiet dinner. Cost the same as our hotel meal, but well below in quality.More

Hi DrRoar. Ask the owner of the Lebanese/Syrian restaurants. I know there are some districts which have Arabic/Middle-Eastern shops, try those places. Cheers!
