We were very, very impressed with the food. Really really top notch. And the pricing was also very, very reasonable. Congratulations to chef Lisa. As well as that lovely Syrian guy who made the desert. Congratulations.

This is a great place to get Turkish-influenced chicken, lamb, and roti dishes. Great service by the manager and waiters. Terrific food. During the COVID crisis, best to call ahead to let them know you're coming. Better yet, place your order the morning of your...evening dinner.More

The food was amazingly delicious compared to many other arab restaurants, the portion was big and filling, and the owners are friendly and accommodating. Lastly, their kunafa is the best that I have tried so far, a must try dish! Definitely would return here with...family and friends.More

This is our second visit there and it was just as good as the first! Food was excellent and the service is that as well. We love going there. We tried a dessert there that we hadn't had before. It has cheese in it and...I strongly recommend it. Everyone loved it at our table. We'll be back often.More

We enjoyed an absolutely wonderful meal with friends one evening after relaxing at the beach. Great service & extensive menu selection. Food arrived in a timely fashion & was all very fresh & very flavourful. Reminded me of when we used to live in the...middle east. Very authentic. We shall return when the opportunity presents itself.More

If the free appetizer and dessert was a ploy to get us to write a review, it worked. But I might have done it anyway. We used to live in the Gulf and were very impressed with the food. Excellent quality for the price, excellent...service although a casual place.More

We’ve loved Rubins ever since our first Penang trip 2 years ago! We’ve been thinking of Rubins for weeks before we embarked on our trip! They’ve moved locations about 500m from their restaurant since last time, but it’s still a short 5 minute walk from...the Holiday Inn Penang. Prices are reasonable and the food quality is the best around! Our personal favorites were the falafel sandwiches, Greek Salads and the Hummus with Bread.More

A tiny ‘cafe’ along the popular touristy stretch of Batu Ferringhi offering Arabic food. Everything we had was absolutely awesome, so tasty & delicious. We tried the falafel platter, mixed grill platter, hummus, & Yemeni Mandy lamb which was like lamb shank, very tender meat...which just fell off the bone. Highly recommend this little gem. There are a lot of Arabic restaurants along this stretch of road but this one is great!More
