In my opinion this is one of the best Asian restaurants I and my wife have been to. Yes the surroundings are not 5 star and you could easily be put off as there are better looking restaurants on the strip. However you will not get a selection of fresher food than here. Andrew the owner is a personality in... More

Everyone from our hotel across the road seemed to radiate towards this restaurant in the evenings! Fortunately, we were taken there by fellow guests at our hotel as I don't think we'd have found it otherwise, as it's not that easy to find! However, when we arrived it was pretty full, so people obviously made a point of finding it,... More

Located in a dinghy building, we climbed up the stairs as we cannot find any lifts. 2nd floor means it is located on the 3rd floor of the building as there is a ground floor, first floor and then second floor. Clear direction on the location of the restaurant. Services is friendly and the food varies from local and western.... More

Glad we searched trip advisor or we definitely would have missed this. Not the most romantic of settings but the hike up the stairs is worth it when you finally get your meal. Great idea to do half portions so you can try lots of things. Deep fried ice cream is delicious 😋

We ate here twice during our visit. On both occasions, service was friendly and speedy. Food was almost universally excellent - Chinese and local dishes executed perfectly with a depth of flavours missing from other restaurants of its price range. Seating was basic-ish on the balcony of a sad shopping mall, but the owners had made some efforts to cheer... More

The food here is absolutely delicious! So much so that we went back twice in two days. The prices are very reasonable too. The only reason I rate it 3 instead of 4 is that I'm sure they use MSG in the recipes. Both my husband and I had headaches and very dry mouths after eating here both times.

I felt like I was having the experience I wanted. Proper Asian and Malay dishes, cooked the way I wanted to try them. The local ingredients fused together. Great really great. There was a nod to the British love of Chinese cuisine as well. Crispy duck! Just like we get it at home. Pancakes the lot. The stars of the... More

If you want a delicious feed but you don't want to pay through the nose you must try Andrew's Kampung for lunch or dinner! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and the food. Especially the marmite chicken and deep fried icecream. The service was exceptional and the restaurant has a great atmosphere.

We visited this restaurant on the strength of reviews on Trip Advisor. I can add nothing that's not already been said .Warm welcome and service from Andrew and team.Excellent food for comparatively small cost.We did say how did we end up in a rundown retail block for an evening out, but I think the quirkiness adds to the experience.Give It... Don't be turned off by the staircase because once you get to the top the experience is fabulous. Andrew is there on hand to guide you through your meal. We didn't order enough food and ordered more and we should have went with his suggestions the first time. The sizzling chicken and chicken satay is to die for. We asked... More
