There is one Chinese Seafood stall. In the menu, there are some chicken dishes. But at the night we visited, we can only order seafood dishes. So they cost me RM 37 for a prawn dish with rice. And then there is a Chinese noodles...stall. Pretty expensive. One person portion noodles cost me RM 10. I won’t go back to I Love You Cafe again because I won’t spend hundred ringgit to have dinner at a hawker Centre.More

This isn't a restaurant. It's a large shed with several independent food vendors and common seating. What is known as a hawker centre locally. Pretty average but not many stalls. Certainly inexpensive.

This hawkers center, next to the Long Beach hawkers center was nearly empty on the evening we visited for enjoying fresh fruit juice. Some stalls were shuttered with clear symptoms that they would never open again. At the same time the Long Beach hawkers did...booming business with 70 % of the tables occupied. Small wonder that I reflected while drinking my juice, how long "I Love You" would keep afloat.More

This is not as busy as Long Beach, but the food was great. I love the roti canai dipped in curry. Takes a bit of time to make, but well worth it. The place has fans all around so you don’t feel too hot. Bring...your own tissues to use as napkins. We also brought wet wipes if using fingers to eat.More

Had some great street food here, all fresh, very hot in heat and quick service. Great crispy fried squid, baby shrimps, tofu, sweet potato pancakes. Beers cheaper than in nearby hotels.

Although this place is less busy and easier to find a nice table than Long Beach; it also has less food selections. We ordered 3 mid-sized river prawns (410 grams), 2 mid-sized squids (560 grams) and 6 Scallops on shell from the ikan bakar stall...located right at the entrance. The seafood tasted good and fresh but slightly pricey at RM 148. We also ordered from some satay, chay kuey teow and asam laksa; also very tasty but certainly not wowing by Penang standards. I would opt to visit Long Beach next door imo, unless LB is very packed this would be a good alternative.More

After a 25-30min wait for the Choa kway Teow at Long Beach (which I had several times since my first visit 4 years ago), I came across this lone Choa Kway Teow stall at the next door hawker center . Long Beach has become very...famous with all the mentions about it on blogs and tripadvisor. Conversely, the hawker next door has fewer stalls and lesser customers. Decided to cancel my order after observing that the Choa Kway Teow stall (must eat local food) decided to serve a few larger groups that came later than me and ordered from this lone stall instead. same ingredients, same price and very similar in taste if not equal in taste. Hence if u don't want to wait at Long Beach, pop by this stall. You won';t be disappointed since they are very similar in taste. Downside is that the portions are a little small. I ordered the RM8 bucks and the quantity seems to be similar to the RM5 bucks next door. But do give it a try. Disclaimer: I only tried the Choa Kway Teow; not sure about the restMore

When you walk in you are overwhelmed by the sheer amount of choice, every kind of food you can think of, so we tried a few outlets, the food was excellent and such great value

Got Grilled fish and prawns, they are fresh and very tasty. Fresh coconut is a must to drink. Unfortunately no air conditioning but the night we were in, there no much crowd so ambience is quite good.

Tried this set of hawker stalls as an alternative to the bigger and brighter long beach. Generally not as much option, may be slightly more expensive than long beach, all told not as enjoyable although the fresh fish for simply grilling was a draw and...better than the other options. Also no tiger available but only Asahi or carlsberg.More

It's a food court - good, cheap basic food sold by a range of sellers. No entertainment at all except people watching.

Even though there is space and there is a latge area near the bar area there is little or no music - its still a food court at the end of the day like Long Beach whereas Long Beach has TVs for the sport - Dayrs Bar has... More
