A very happening place to chill at with sunset. Superb service by Azhar, very attentive. Great fries too. A bit if a let down that they are out of brownies, but definitely looking forward to the next visit.

The food now is horrible and i had better food here before somewhere last year .. Disappointed bringing my family here
If you want to enjoy the sunset view, you should try coming to Bora Bora. They serve food and drinks as well, so you get to enjoy nice food and drinks while watching the sunset which is around 7pm
Terrible staff, o management on site. Worst beach bar ever visited and I say this as the former owner of one of the top places in the Caribbean. Never again-Lance
Nice place. Food was okay, but not great. Menu and food was too western like and boring. Everything was fine, but just meh for me. I would have liked more local and authentic tastes.
Really liked this restaurant, its right on the beach, Food was good but there wasn't a lot of it, you don't get any extras with the meal like rice or veg, luckily we ordered some garlic bread to start. its very busy as well but...we managed to get a seat as only 2 of us.More
The view is good. All is good until another customer got a lighter from a waiter and start smoking beside my table . And I thought smoking is prohibited in all restaurant in Malaysia ...
The food was okay but not worth the price. We had some satee sausages with onions, the sausages were a bit off. The tax is hidden from the menu's prices. They charged 6% for government tax + 10% for service tax. It's too much and...not written down on the menu. Will never come back here againMore
Went to this restaurant to have dinner on Christmas Eve. we had a nice dinner with a well-positioned table that overlooked the ocean. Then, at around 3a.m. we heard vomiting noises, my son had gotten food poisoning from the burger he had eaten. I too...had a bad stomach ache that lasted the whole morning as he and I had shared the burger. Christmas was definitely different this year!More
My friend plan to have a hangout day together at this restaurant by the beach . The restaurant served western and alcohol which are quite expensive. The place is always crowded on weekends. However, the food is nothing great is just the atmosphere attracts people...to dine in here.More
We love the old Bora Bora. Since beginning of March 2021 is is closed. The good news is, they moved next door. To the West. We could not wait to see the new Bora Bora, so we went a couple of days after opening. Opening...is a strong word, perhaps because there was alway a beach bar/restaurant. They simply merged. To our opinion it lacks the old atmosphere. Maybe we were too much in love with the old one. Still it is very much okay though. The beach is more open and the terras is comparable and cozy. What is not comparable is the lighting. After sunset the lights were on on the terras. Of course, but WHITE LIGHTS? Can you imagine; The white tube lights on the terras? It is such a contrast to the reddish yellow light of the sunset. To our opinion it has to be changed right away to romantic lights which keep you in the same mood. The restaurant is boring. Just a big place with lots of tables. It could be anywhere. The washrooms are horrible. Run down and not clean. Needs to be upgraded and repaired asap. Install also a number of western toilets please. Clean washrooms in a restaurant are very important. The menu is the Bora Bora menu. Very suitable for what to be aspected at a beach place. What you need is available. Snacks, drinks and main menu. Nothing special but good. You don't expect to dine haut cuisine, are you? Service like the old Bora Bora. Friendly, relaxed. For us. This 'new' Bora Bora is still the place to be at the beach in Batu Ferringhi. Can't replace the closed one, but it has the potential to become as good. A few alterations please.More
Bora bora pizza, Tom yum soup, sauté beef rendang, char kway Tao, mee mamak, was all absolutely fantastic. Nice setting and good staff. Would come again, great all around. Very reasonable prices.
Each time I’m on Penang island, I’m trying to pass by Batu Feringgi and Bora Bora restaurant which is definitely one of the best spot for sunset. Food is generous and tasty as well their drinks particularly their coconut. Service is polite. Decent prices. Definitely...recommend itMore
We came here for food and drinks and it did not disappoint. good variety and decent service at a reasonable price.
Very busy beach bar behind the market, we did not have anything to eat just drinks. They have tables going down to the beach, service was a bit slow but it was really busy. This is a popular place to watch the sun going down...and a great place to take photos.More
