The briyani is most definitely not authentic or close to being tasty. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Any roadside stall in Ferrigihi will be better and half the price

We had a wonderful time at this fabulous restaurant the service was welcoming and efficient and the food was great, in particular the vegetable pakora was probably the best I’ve ever had.
Delicious Pakistani food and good service. Flavours of the spices and heat od the chilli was just right. Naan was fluffy and Palak Paneer mouth watering. Beef kebab was outstanding! location was breezy and cool in the shaded areas as it non-airconditioned.
Some places in Batu Ferringhi were closed when we arrived on a Tuesday but this one was open and had a huge menu - something we normally avoid as it often means quantity over quality. However, the service was great and the food really tasty....We loved the light, fluffy rice and were grateful for the waiter's recommendation to choose 2 different dishes to share. We chose to sit outside where we enjoyed watching the world go by but there was a bit of a bad smell in the air, possibly from drains, which detracted a little from the experience. Not the fault of the restaurant I'm sure and easily solved by eating indoors should we go again.More
Good Food and good service, great range of vegetarian dishes too. Will definitely be back when in Penang next time.
Everytime we have our holiday in Penang, my children insist to have a meal at Danish Beriyani House. It is conveniently located opposite Golden Sand Hotel and parking is easy. We had Lamb beriyani and chicken beriyani. The rice itself is mouth watering..especially when you...are hungry. The lamb served was with no bones and so was the chicken. The chicken meat was so well marinated that it is very tasty. We also ordered fresh salads and one with raita. The salad made the lunch tastier and complete. Lamb beriyani was rm20 per plate and chicken was rm 12, but it is a lot of rice with many pieces of lamb and a big piece of chicken. Really worth it. Highly recommend to have your dinner or lunch at this restaurant.More
It seems that the reviews of this restaurant have been somewhat mixed but mainly down to some reviewers expectations of a particular dining experience. This restaurant produces food, very good food in generous portions and at a fair local price. For a few weeks we...rented an apartment not too far away which gave us the opportunity to consume their range of really good Pakistani/North Indian meals made with very good ingredients that were pleasingly cooked. To be fair to those reviewers who seem to be not keen on the service; the majority of our meals were ‘take-a-ways’. Having said that, the staff were always welcoming, polite and helpful. Had I asked, they would have delivered. All in all, I wish I could get food like this where I live!More
Very good curries and dhals here. Staff attentive, and try to make your curries just as spicy or not as you require. Channa Dahl here is a favourite. so well worth a visit
We had lunch at this little cafe and the food was fresh and wholesome, with certainly great taste and quality.
Quick lunch spot with great meals. Had chicken tiki masarla no spice and was great flavours. Nice staff ground floor level neat and clean.
Just don’t eat here- there is so much choice in Malaysia- and so many good restaurants that bad ones like this should not be taking advantage of tourists. Just go somewhere else. What you see on the pictures bears no resemblance to the food that...is served. And customer service is not something they care about.More
You might want to avoid eating at the Danish Biryani House in Batu Ferringhi.... We stopped by there for the first time ever and one of our party ordered a vegetarian pizza, which, on the menu photographs, had the sort of ingredients one might expect...a Mediterranean style vegetarian pizza to have - black olives, peppers, fresh tomato, onion. herbs. The item that arrived was covered with, and only with frozen diced vegetables such as you might find at the Frozen Foods section of the supermarket. Peas, carrot squares, a kernel or two of frozen corn - that's it. When we returned the pizza we were told that the pizza did not need to resemble the photograph at all and that black olives, peppers, tomato, onion were not ingredients found in Malaysia. We must have looked like very gullible tourists, but fortunately, we are not and know better. This insult to my intelligence was the final straw, and we thus declined to pay so much as a single penny for the disgraceful food item, which was returned 98 percent uneaten. The owner neither had the desire nor good grace to resolve the issue amicably, thus we resolved it on his behalf by not paying for it.More

The place serves good Indian food. The ambiance is basic, indoor as well as outdoor seating area. Food quality and taste were good but not the best. Value for money food.
Ordered a chicken biryani, turned out it was just an extremely dry piece of reheated tandoori chicken sitting beside some boiled rice. Not biryani in the slightest and tasted terrible Do yourselves a favour and avoid!
