We made a reservation but it wasn't busy when we arrived at 7pm on a Friday. We speak some German but there were English menus available and another table nearby only spoke English. The food was good - the lobster soup and the Tafelspitz were particularly high delicious. There was a kids menu for our 7 and 9 year old.... More

We stumbled into this gem because we were in town also by chance after taking a detour to the Rolls Royce Museum (worth a visit if you are into cars). The restaurant is a fantastic old building full of creeks charm and history. Professional service and a nice atmosphere make it for a comfortable visit. We had the Brathandel (... More

Slightly biased as this restaurant is my kind of thing, but the building, the food, and the staff make this place a must visit. Genuine Austrian food set in a building that has something new to see round every corner in all the rooms. I would say this is a must go to eatery if you're in the area for... More

Our plans to attend the Bregenz music festival were quashed when we realized we had purchased tickets for the weekend before. It was a miserable rainy night so to cheer ourselves up, we sought out a nice meal and found just the thing here. This ancient building is divided into tiny rooms hosting 2 or 3 tables each. We were... More

This place has the most wonderful food! We did not have a reservation and this place came highly recommended by our hotel clerk. Oh my was she right on with that information. We were seated shortly after we arrived upstairs in a quiet corner we had a beer while we waited for our food. I wanted to get the fresh... More

We went here during a Saturday and had booked a table outside for lunch. Despite the fact it was very busy the service was very professional and friendly at all time. We skipped the starter and had Schnitzel and fresh Fish for main. Both dish tasted absolutely fresh and were cooked very well. Presentation was perfect. For desert we ordered... More

Very tasty and carefully cooked dishes. Special kindness and professionality of the staff. And an interesting past, make this restaurant together a place to be visited and enjoyed in good company.

I went here on a summerweekend on the way through "old town" and chose a table outside. The restaurant offers high quality kitchen with a good choice of local as well as more "international" food. Had a beef tartare as starter and my wife a porcino soup. Both very delicious and within 15min after we´ve ordered. The entrees were a... More

The food was good and it's a nice restaurant. On the search for the best schnitzel in Vorarlberg this one was very good. Recommended!
