Great place for lunch, just off ramparts, with outside terrace in good weather. Home made soups and tardiness, so reasonably priced and cosy and so French. Not to be missed

Loved this little place discovered after walking the ramparts. As already stated, it’s a cosy little venue and last week we were lucky enough to be able to sit outside in the sunshine on the terrace and enjoy a very simple lunch, with a carafe of wine. Everything is homemade daily - just delicious – well worth a visit.

Third time visiting and just as good as ever. As it is a very short detour off the motorway it is becoming my go-to restaurant when heading for a ferry at Calais. So much better than the motorway services or most of the offerings at Cite Europe. Advisable to book in advance as it always seems to be busy.

Came here based on other trip advisor reviews and was not disappointed. It's a simple idea of a bowl of soup with either a salad, quiche, tart or cheeses and meats. I had the soup and cheese and meats which were all superb and flavoursome The service was attentive and welcoming well worth a visit in my opinion

Le Pot is situated on the edge of Montreuil-sur-mer and it butts up against the Ramparts that encircle the town. You can walk the full circle on top of the Ramparts and it makes a great 3km walk. Le Pot makes a great stop over venue for anyone wanting to enjoy the walk and the superb views across the town... More

We had a delicious lunch after a chilly morning exploring the town. The restaurant basically only serves soup and quiche with a choice that makes picking just one of each very difficult. The menu may be small but the food is superb. the fish soup was the highlight of or long weekend in France. A nice stove means that the... More

We were delighted to turn up here on February 14th for dinner. If you want somewhere unusual to go for a fun night out this is the place to go. It was our first time here - luckily we had booked - and on entering there was a convivial atmosphere with everyone talking at once (in French) which we like.... More

Have been here many times before and never failed to have excellent value and quality . Arrived just after midday and by 12.30 it was full . Had the home made soup with freshly baked bread and quiche Lorraine for €12.50 excellent .

Absolutely brilliant, after all the complexity of Michelin style food, it's refreshing to find an establishment that excels at what it does, by focusing on keeping every element simple, but excellent. By giving you a choice of 5 soups, 2 salads or 2 quiches which are all freshly made in the front of house kitchen, the chef and staff here... More

We arrived just before 1pm on a Saturday and were very lucky to find a table for two free (see note below on reservation). This charming soup/quiche restaurant is very popoular with locals and was full of happy chatting families and couples. There is a wonderful homely smell as soon as you walk through the door of simmering soups and... More
