I had high hopes for this place, which was set back up a steep street from the main road. However, throughout our meal only 2 tables were occupied and there was no atmosphere. The food wasn't brilliant - sadly we had the vinegar fish mentioned in another review, followed by grilled fish and steak, both of which were served with... More

Found this place by accident. lovely fresh rustic bread. Very fresh, perfectly cooked fish with good accompanying wine. Staff spoke little English, but enough. Sausages were very tasty

I passed by the restaurant during midday and it seemed nice and good. A bit away from the crowdy lakeside and good prices. In the evening we went back and we were alone in the whole restaurant. Very unfriendly welcome. Table was falling appart. As a first dish we asked for the como lake fish assortiment. Waitster confirmed it was... More

Real family home made food. Place doesn't look nice, very simple, under decorated and with quite simple and cheap furniture. But...if ones wishes to experience some of the local traditional food, that is one place: "pasta" is home made fresh , pizzoccheri-rigatoni saraceni, fettuccine...Simple flavors which get together strong taste and delicateness at he same time. Home made desserts (torta... More

We had a very good meal here. Fresh pasta. At the right price. 1/8th the cost of La Terrazzo and much better. Small place but very accommodating. Would come again.

The concierge at the Tremezzo recommended this place and it while it is close to the hotel and very reasonable, the meal was not that good. Located up the alley from the waterfront, the place is simple with outdoor seating on plastic chairs. I ordered the lake fish and my husband ordered the spaghetti with meat sauce. The fish was... I was sceptical at first but glad we stopped here. Fresh tasty simple food. Nice and quiet with surprising breeze up the ally. Real mom & pops vibe. Not haute cuisine just genuine home cooked Italian food.

We were delighted to find this simple trattoria for dinner last night. Food was excellent (grilled butterflied trout and grilled vegetables was my selection), good local red wine in the bottle, delightful service, and very cost effective. A good alternative to the seaside establishments.

A nice traditional restaurant. The pasta was delicious! Bistecca was also really good. If you want a simple traditional Italian meal at a reasonable price this place is great.
