We knew that the decor of the restaurant was a bit outdated, but we were hoping the food would compensate for it. The whole evening was a disaster, from waiting 20 minutes to receive a menu (while tables that arrived after us received it before us), the food took about 50 minutes to arrive, meaning that two courses took us... Great for dinner with fantastic view. You can literally pick up what you want to eat, we choose lobsters and some local wine. This place is hidden gem in Trapani province, mostly visited by the locals.

They did pasta with clams very well and then we chose a fish from the ice bar and it was prepared very nicely for us. I am a food perfectionist and I would have cooked the fish a few seconds less - but it was perfect to my wives taste. 50 euro for one fish felt a bit expensive but... More

The best fish I've ever had! Just let the waiter to help you with the choise and you'll never be dissapointed. My tip - for starter ask for a mix seafood. Very good wine list. reasonable price. For friday & saturday evenings it's better to reserve in advance - very popular among local residents.

Very welcoming and pleasant, cheery staff. We were able to select our fish and were given recommendations on how it could be cooked. The food was not fussy but extremely fresh and very tasty. The place was full with locals-always a good sign.

A visit to western Sicily would not be complete without the opportunity to sample some really fresh locally caught fish. This restaurant is an ideal choice as not only is the fish fantastic but the staff go out of their way to make sure that the meal is an experience to be remembered. I had the scorpion fish which was... More

Without any doubt our favorite place to eat in the area of Trapani. There's not much going on in the Tonnara di Bonagia but it is famous all around for its fresh fish. As everybody mentions, the place is anything but your typical Sicilian restaurant, it looks like a cinema or disco from the 70s or 80s from outside and... More

We spent 4 nights in the Trapani area and we went to this restaurant twice during our stay. Antonio the waiter was an absolute delight. He had us laughing from the moment we arrived. The food was excellent, the attention from Antonio was spectacular and we had an opportunity to taste the restaurant's superb Pesto Trapanese which Antonio brought out... More

We cam with a group of 10 for lunch and were seated at a huge table in the seaside view room, even when there was a private party going on in the main room. Good service, great food. no surprise that the fish was lovely, since it is a fishing village.
