We called into the Moorings restaurant at sort notice, where we were greeted by Marie who was so helpful, efficient and friendly. The delicious fresh food was prepared exactly to order and we duly cleared our plate. We will definitely call again and recommend the Moorings unreservedly. In addition their beer-garden was equally as inviting ! My husband enjoyed their... More

The food is excellent and it is well liked by the locals, I lived here for a while and it was a favourite eatery for most people I worked with. The only complaint I could make is that, really the Helvic Fish and chips is not a portion for one, but would better suite 2 or 3 . Though its... More

Visited for dinner in April. The meal was delicious, portion size was more than ample. The atmosphere was good. Overall experience was very positive. Will return on my next visit.

Wife and I each ordered a half bowl of the chowder with brown bread. Best seafood chowder I'ver ever had. Well spiced and full of large lumps of fish and vegetables. We also ordered the fish and chips which we probably didn't need at that point but the fish batter was excellent and the fish (sole) was fresh. Accompanied by... More

Old worldish cosy pub which serves average to good food, staff very pleasant. It does not pretend to anything more than it is which is, a very pleasant cosy ambiance serving pub grub. in a pretty setting.

Cycle friendly accommodation, friendly staff, nice food. I got the train from Dublin to Waterford and cycle along the Déise greenway to Dungarvan. The weather took a turn for the worst prior to arriving in Duingarvan, I was soaked arriving at the moorings but the staff member I met brought me to a safe and secure shed I could lock... More

I regularly lunch with colleagues at The Moorings, and there are always many regulars there at lunchtime. You enter, you order and there is a decent meal in front of you within a matter of minutes. Cannot fault the staff, the food or the service, and I would highly recommend to all, both local and visitors to Dungarvan

Crab claws and monkfish, look no further. Have a steak the second night. Thanks to Marie and the team for looking after the regular golfing group from Scotland. Booked for next year already.
