Visited this restaurant 2 times. Had lunch on the terrace 4 weeks ago. Fresh salad with side dishes. All ingredients fresh and local. Had dinner with 4 yesterday. Eaten starter, main and dessert. Here, too, everything is fresh, in generous portions and served deliciously hot. Very tasteful. The staff very tidy, friendly and welcoming. This company has a super host who gives all their guests a VIP treatment in the smallest details. Absolute value for money

Will be happy to visit again and stay overnight.

Did not stay at the hotel but had dinner at the restaurant. Fantastic service and very good food. Served with a smile. It was a friday evening,lovely weather and plenty of people about Price very resonable. The place was very nice with good chairs.

Fantastic evening at Monopole

What a great cuisine, staff and delicious menu of dishes. An evening / afternoon to be pampered by staff then you really have to be here! Fantastic dishes prepared with love and then this is served by super friendly staff! What a great location what a great staff and the food was great! Definitely worth driving there if you don't live around the corner !!

Looking fwd to dinner at one of award wining restaurant in Haarderwick. Service was indifferent. Our order of steak salad and bouillabaisse took forever to be served. Wife like her salad but the soup had a dark gravy like soup and not variety to the seafood.

Nice terrace on the water, but the sandwich at lunch was disappointing. When you see 'salmon and eel' under the sandwiches for €15.90 you think of a nice lunch. It's one small thick slice of bread with some salmon, a few stripes of eel and some lettuce. In the middle of a large, white and otherwise empty plate. For a lunch this is really too little, and relative to the price it really makes no sense. Too bad. Service friendly, therefore 3 bulbs, otherwise it would have been 2.

A beautiful terrace with a wide view. We had to eat inside because the weather did not allow us to dine outside. Good and beautiful card. Service friendly and precise. The owner walks around the business and pays attention to everything. Very kindly came to our table to ask if everything was OK. Super attentive. He wondered whether the tournedos were as desired and not too well-done, but we ordered them that way, so they were absolutely fantastic. We had a delicious meal in a good atmosphere. Highly recommended!!

Beautifully located near the beach, with a beautiful view through the row of windows surrounding the room, we enjoyed the good aperitif cocktails and especially the time to taste them before the arrival of the tasting menu starters…. But good ! The only negative point is that out of 3 'ossehaas' (pure fillet) ordered rare, 2 were a little overcooked, but the meat was excellent. Don’t hesitate to have a dessert, all (out of 5) perfect. Very good wines (a little expensive) on the menu. The staff is kind, helpful and pleasant (welcome humor)

Lunch on the terrace with former colleagues

Enjoyed lunch on the terrace. Looking out over the Wolderwijd, we ate the richly filled sea salad with 3 former colleagues from the municipality of Wierden. I had reserved a table. We could choose from the reserved table on the terrace or the reserved table inside. Such a luxury. The weather was fine and it was very pleasant outside. Friendly staff allowed us to chat quietly. Not pushy, extremely enjoyable experience. We will come back again.

Great location and delicious food

We were there for dinner and had a nice outdoor spot in great weather. Service was friendly and attentive. Very good value for money. My burger with truffle fries was simple but very tasty. I can't understand the bad reviews. The salmon dish was great. We will definitely come back and can only recommend the Monopole.

Cozy and delicious.

Very nice atmosphere whenever you come. This time we had a snack in the evening. Delicious warm rolls with spread. Spare ribs and satay next. Both super tasty. And then a delicious dessert. Very friendly service and a warm, relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommended for a glass of wine or cocktail.

Fine, but too small

Cozy place. Beautiful decor. Friendly staff. We only found the ordered goat cheese sandwich to be meager in size. Also for that price. 1 thick slice of bread, not too large. Then choose two slices or a large triangle roll or good-sized waldkorn baguette. Invest both sides and more raw vegetables. It immediately looks more and is also more. Now we were still hungry. Well prepared and tasty. But... really too small.
