I had a most lovely dinner at the Baytree Hotel restaurant before the dastardly coronamania situation reared it’s terrible head. We enjoyed a delicious cauliflower cheese with new potatoes, veggie nut-roast & salmon ceviche whilst my companion gazed longingly out to sea watching the waves...before subtly whispering into my ear “Your sesquipedalianism is really obfuscating your pellucidity”. I must say it was the high point of our holiday to the wonderful Broadstairs (-: Delicious food. Recommended!More

We ordered the ceviche and shepherds pie. Both were divine and arrived very promptly. Delivery guy very friendly. Would definitely recommend for top quality food in the area!

Dear Robert and all the Bay Tree team We took advantage of your Christmas delivery service and ordered Lunch for Christmas Day and your Boxing Day Box. What a BRILLIANT idea! Our meal was delivered exactly on the time we requested by a very pleasant...chap, laden with all sorts of bags and boxes for us. The food we had yesterday was excellent- really beautifully prepared, the main course was HOT too. Today we enjoyed the cold cuts, cheeses, lovely home made chutneys etc- There was plenty for my Wife and I to eat and we ordered ‘For ONE person’ We have yet to finish all these goodies! So a BIG Thank You to you all for coming up with this great idea- saved having to think about and prepare quite a complicated meal- and hope you might do this again some time??? It made our Lockdown Christmas really enjoyable 🎅🏻🙂More

My mother and I had a very relaxed breakfast at the Bay Tree today. The food was excellent ( more than enough portion size) and the staff were very pleasant and efficient. Lee, front of house, was very entertaining and knowledgeable in the history of...Charles Dickens in Broadstairs. A very enjoyable experience and will look forward to an evening meal next timeMore

The breakfasts were really tasty, filling and served with a smile - a nice range of choices too. I had a very tasty fish pie for dinner - thoroughly recommended- and the staff were so accommodating with different dietary requirements - which was so helpful.

Decided to come for breakfast as we were staying close by. It was a lovely breakfast but I was a bit disappointed at the lack of toast. We got one piece each - had to ask for another piece however only I got one -...not my partner. Bread is hardly expensive- please be generous with the toast ! Otherwise all was lovely.More

While staying at the hotel we had our breakfast and one evening meal in the restaurant. The breakfast room is well laid out and can easily accommodate guests socially distancing, if the weather is good there is also a terrace in the front of the...hotel. A full English breakfast is cooked to order with juice, fruit and toast also on offer, and this is included in the room rate if you book directly with the hotel. We also ate here on our first evening, pre ordering our meal when we arrived, we both opted for the fish and chips which was excellent. There is a well-stocked bar at reasonable prices. Alistair and Robert were both very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely be returning.More

Celebrating our son's 21st birthday today in the garden due to covid19. Ordered afternoon tea for 4 people. Lovely sandwiches, freshly made scones (still warm) with cream and jam, cakes and trifles. Excellent value for money and very tasty. Would definitely order again.
