We decided to have this as a Xmas eve treat and try something different. Food was amazing and almost as good as eating in, can't recommend highly enough.

So rude and aggressive!! I didn’t even have the opportunity to go in. Guy (boss I presume?) on the phone aggressively uttered “got a mask?” (I am exempt) and then showed me the door with a total lack of respect. No hello, no questions, no...kindness, no politeness, no regards what so ever. That is NOT the way to do business, pandemic or not. One star for the music and the decor: really lovely from what I could barely see.... I certainly won’t go back.More

Hi, my response to your review is as follows: There are two signs clearly displaying that the wearing of facemasks is obligatory. One on the window and one on the front door, signalling that I am following the government guidelines, requiring people to wear a...More

So good to enjoy another wonderful meal at Albarino. The food is always delicious, freshly cooked, well sourced and with interesting combinations of flavours. Great wine list with unusual Spanish choices and brilliant Albarino. The same care which goes into the cooking has been taken...in following safety recommendations and keeping the restaurant well-spaced and immaculately clean. It was a real pleasure to eat there, enjoy superb food and wine and know that we were in safe hands. Thank you to Steven and the charming, helpful staff.More

From the booking process to the farewell, our experience was really warm and we’d have no hesitation returning. The menu was first class and with only one chef turning out the food, you can’t fault it. Everything cooked to order and tasting uber fresh. Well...done everyone!!More

Incredibly rude manager/owner who rant THREE times during the week to confirm we were still going. On third time we said “of course we are!” he got very aggressive and hung up while I was trying to ask a question. Busy or not, Covid difficulties...or not a bad attitude.More

Hi, We find that when bookings are made far in advance, there is more chance of them not showing up or cancelling at the last minute. Instead of taking deposits or card details we tend to give people a call at the beginning of the...More

Haven’t been to Albarinos all year because of current situation. Went for dinner last Saturday and food was as good as we remembered. Highly recommend but you must book early to get in.

We visited Albarino during our stay in Broadstairs and actually booked a table the week prior to our visit. Customer service was good, we were asked to fill a track and trace form and the waitresses wore masks. The tables were well spaced too. There...is a set menu from which you chose one dish from each section - three dishes each person. We also chose to have bread and olives to start too. The food was very good and authentic but we felt a little overpriced . The cheapest bottle of wine was £26.00 - again overpriced!More

We really enjoyed our dinner at Albarino. The food came out at a nice pace and there was plenty of it. It felt very covid secure, we sat at the bar but there was plastic ‘boards’ between us and staff. The staff were friendly and...efficient.More

We visited on 12th August and really enjoyed the tapas and the flight of Albarino (4 x 175ml various, excellent white wines). It is hardly surprising that all of the reviews are positive about the quality of the freshly-prepared food. We were also very impressed...with the effective distancing measures taken by the owner/chef, to protect customers. We had a table by the window and noted that all of the tables are well spaced. The two staff serving food wore face masks, which while it is the obvious measure to take, seems to be unique amongst restaurants in the town. We definitely recommend and will eat here again soon.More

This place is literally the place I would eat at for my last meal on earth. The food is incredible, the service is excellent, and the atmosphere is always great. This most recent visit was during the covid pandemic and I can honestly say it's...the best managed place I've seen. Social distancing done very well, staff all wearing masks, and I witnessed an incredibly thorough clean down of the table after use of another group.. the were literally antibacing the chair legs and everything. If you eat anywhere in Broadstairs ..eat here.More

Don't know about cocktails, but menu is on their website. A good wine or a spanish beer probably goes better with their food though. get your chops down there.
