The menu was quite varied, and there was a specials board with unusual options. We opted for some hearty sandwiches, which were tasty. The coffee better than some we’ve had. It’s not the biggest space, so the tables layout was not the best. A large...4/6 seater table dominated, which consecutive arriving couples were warned not to sit at. There was an attempt at funky ambience, but I’m afraid it didn’t suit us - the piped music was just noise & the ceiling distracting ... but not in a good way.More

Beaches offers a range of the usual hot drink options, cakes and treats plus a good array of cooked breakfast and butty options. It’s a relaxed atmosphere with good (not intrusive) tunes and a great collection of indie music posters on the ceiling (check them...out). Well worth a visit.More

A lovely place for breakfast-loved the decor - and fabulous music. A chilled vibe. Great breakfast. The waitress that served us was lovely.

We popped by here for breakfast as it’s the number one cafe in Broadstairs, the reason I give a low scoring is not because of the food, that’s absolutely fab, it’s the owner/ manager. Not a nice man! He speaks to his staff horribly and...I found it embarrassing for them! I wouldn’t go back as HE made me feel uncomfortable! Constantly turning couples away because they didn’t fit his 4 to a table criteria even though no 4 groups came along in the hours we were there! And that table sat empty.More

Good coffee, good food, helpful and friendly staff, observed Covid guidelines which was good. It was busy when we came but the girl was working hard and very attentive. Toilet was clean, worth it for the coffee and the muffins. Other food being served looked...good and nice sized portionsMore

Heard him swear at his staff whilst me and my boyfriend came from breakfast. Food was ok. Wouldn’t recommend unfortunately:(

Of course there is the local Spoons a five minute drive away and I think they have a diabetes clinic next door for quick and easy access. However I would rather pay a couple of quid more and get what seemed like a locally sourced...sausage. A perfectly set fried egg. Some lovely toast from the local bakers and genuine Heinz sauces. Coffee nice too. Lovely ripe tasty tomato and I think the veggie option would be good also.More
