My friend and I had high tea today. We were amazed at the high quality food and wonderful 1940’s decor. Beautiful china crockery and silver plated teapot set. The homemade coffee cake, made by Brendon, is to die for! Such lovely people that made us...More

Was recommended to try this old fashioned tea room. Was really worth the visit. Staff were very friendly and went out there way to accommodate a party of 7 at short notice. Very reasonable priced and lovely atmosphere.

We are glad we walked a little further out of Rochester to find this gem of a tea room. The menu is extensive and excellent value for money. The service was polite and attentive. I would thoroughly recommend a visit. Brilliant!

Yes they do. I opted for the jacket potato although on that day they there wasn't any available. They are such a good tea room. Nothing is too much trouble and if they can do something for you, they will.

Situated in historic Rochester High Street, Kent. The 1940's ambience of the tea room and its location creates the perfect atmosphere for a Breakfast, Lunch including a homemade "vintage dish of the day" and Afternoon Tea. There really is something for everyone on the menu, from the classic cream tea for one served with one of our seasonal artisan jams, homemade ice-creams (with jelly if desired!)
