The Cathedral Tea Rooms are set, yes, you have it, right next to Rochester Cathedral, and right near to Rochester Castle, so a really great location. There is ample seating inside, and outside ( particularly in the summer) a beautiful enclosed garden. The Tea rooms have a friendly staff, and serve a good selection of freshly made foods. The bathrooms... More

Warm, comfortable and they served a very good mocha, no time to eat lunch that day but the food looked lovely.

A very good place for lunch/drinks when visiting the cathedral. Limited number of places, so can be difficult to get a table. Great jacket potatoes and coffee, excellent service, reasonable prices.

Can't comment on the food as we only had hot drinks. Lovely pot of tea and very nice hot chocolate. A nice spot in the cathedral grounds.

Today, 23 of us cyclists stopped in for tea and a cake . Our orders were efficiently taken, and shortly thereafter we were all seated. The Cathedral tea rooms are nestled deep inside of the Cathedral grounds, so if you don't know where they are, then you might well have to ask. But it is worth the effort, as the... More

A wonderful tea room.which serves so much more than just tea and cakes. Open for breakfast , lunch and early dinner, if you want a good home cooked meal or snack this is the place to go. The gardens are beautiful to see at any time of the year but are only open in the warmer months.

We dropped in here after visiting the Cathedral. This tea room was warm and cosy on a very chilly day. We had coffees and cakes - tansy and home made. There was also a lunch menu which had soup and savoury snacks, pity it was still too early for our lunch.

We come to the cathedral tea rooms a lot. It is perfect if you have young children and the weather is good. You can sit outside and the kids can play on the grass, knowing it's completely enclosed. The food and drink is very good and reasonably priced. Staff have always been friendly and helpful.

The food is lovely and reasonably priced. There is a wide selection of snacks and full meals. There are tables set both inside and outside. The garden is very pretty and lots of wild life.

Thank Roy H
