This is a traditional style cafe serving breakfasts all day and basic main meals. We had a chicken curry jacket potato and ham egg and chips with two ground machine made coffees for less than a tenner. Terrific value, the ham was cut off a home cooked joint not processed. The curry homemade. The place is clean and busy. Worth... More

Great to see this place is still here. I used to come here years ago with my then girlfriend and now wife. Serving classic full English breakfasts, this place has been my hangover cure for 15-20 years! Still worth the visit.

Today me and my friend stopped for a quick lunch at my mums request. Once we walked in we quickly looked at the massive menu on the wall and both chose jacket potato. When I ordered I asked for no butter which they were fine about and we soon later got our food. The jacket was cooked to perfection and... More

My mother and I went to legends today for a Sunday morning fry up and although the staff were nice and place looked clean, the food was tasteless and quite pricey for what it was also the coffee was like dish water. Disappointed!

Legends is what you would once have called a greasy spoon, selling great breakfasts (big enough for everyone I know) for a great price. The lunch menu is varied, but the cafe closes early afternoon.

We had our breakfast there with my wife's twin sister who came from Bournemouth for the weekend to see the Town of Rochester. We had a tea and a large baguette each which came to £4.80 per person. If you saw the size of the baguette this was the largest we have ever had. They were very polite and the... More

This cafe has clear windows uncluttered by adverts and general tat and is centrally located, just a minute from the High Street. Inside the floor is of blue lino and on the walls are a variety of photographs of screen legends - Monroe etc,, although they need to be re-framed and to be brought into a uniform design. There are... More

Description
Great example of the Great British Caff. Fry ups, pies chips etc.. I was hungover and had one of the greatest fry-ups. Cheap and what it says on the box. Just tucked- away up the hill as you cross over the crossing on the way from the station on your way to where the high street is with all the Castle, Cathedral and Historcail wealth of Rochester.
